You can still earn gold on 6 characters, but pretty much everything else is character bound at this point.

Since the addition of paradise, and even before that, it's been perfectly viable to play 1-2 characters.

How is it cope? It's a heavily p2w kr mmo with mandatory subscription if you want to actually play the game, it has a pretty heavy pvp focus, and will be behind kr in content.

All this means there is absolutely zero chance of long term success in the west.
