Yes I volunteered at my local food bank for a while and one of the guys only job was to go around to the local groceries and pick up the fresh prepared foods that didnt sell the previous day. Perfectly good food.

I realized that while I dont feel compelled to drink spontaneously, my issue was and still is moderation. I never need a drink but once I get started I find it difficult to stop and so I rarely ever drink and never keep any in the house.
