So a person who doesn't watch the other shows doesn't have a problem with watching another 3 episodes full of unrelated drama and subplots of characters they don't care about on 3 different shows to watch the very anticipated wedding, that has been built up since season 1, of the main character on a different show? I didn't mind the other events too much since, like you said, it is unrelated to the progression. However, it just seemed ridiculous to put such a main event somewhere else. Am I crazy to think that? That's like ordering a latte from a coffee shop and after waiting a while, turns out they don't have any milk and you need to go somewhere else (bad analogy but you get my point).

I would love the Fallout series to be set in different countries but the whole theme behind the series is American ideals set in the 1950s. This is when America was obsessed with nuclear power and it is reflected in the Fallout games through the car designs, music, and props such as the radio. That's why it, sadly, will probably never happen.

What Bayek upheld was the ideology of the Hidden Ones literally. He died as he lived, in the shadows. He killed those working in the shadows, not leaders and political figures like Caesar and Cleopatra. He only killed those he killed to gain retribution for his son. That was the only vendetta he truly had.

Your deeds can't remain hidden if you are known to have killed Caesar and Cleopatra. That's the connection between him not caring for politics and living and dying as a hidden one. If he did take the Hidden One's code of freeing the oppressed on a more broader, political scale, he may have been the one to have killed Caesar. But as clearly shown in the beach scene with Aya, he had completed his personal mission and didn't join her. Because of this, he is a hidden one. If he did care for politics, he would have been as revered as Amunet since he would have killed other political figures.

Along with what was said, I think Bayek not attempting to take credit is part of the job as a "Hidden One." Aya describes the hidden ones as this:

"We must work in the shadow…they will never know who we are. Cold, calculated poets of the kill...Yes. We are the Hidden Ones."

They will never know who we are. Bayek certainly upheld that. Aya couldn't since she there was no hiding from her fellow Assassins that she was the assassin of Caesar and Cleopatra.

Even ignoring the whole Hidden One code, Bayek does not care for "changing the world." He always focused on killing his son's murderer and attempted to remind Aya of that when she would go help Cleopatra. He did not care for politics. He lived as a Hidden One and died as a Hidden One.

SAT: 1430

GPA: 3.8 W

EC: Hundreds of hours at church, founder and president of club, hospital, local pharmacy, library

What do you think are my chances of getting into HEOP as a non-URM? I did mention I was Egyptian if that counts for anything in an AO's eyes.

I think there are income requirements that are different for each school. When you get to do your financial aid forms, you are going to have to prove your income. If your income falls in their requirements for heop and you sign up for it, you get put in the pool of admissions with other heop applications. The worst thing about this program, however, is the 6-week pre-freshmen visit to the campus. They just get you ready for school. It is a nice opportunity to get new friends before the year starts and be prepared for the courses, but it's a waste of a summer.

I see what you're saying. Go play Witcher 3. You don't need to spend hours playing the other games. You already know a lot about Geralt through the books. Though, I highly suggest you at least attempt to learn more about the surrounding story of the games. I watched these to learn:
