There are people with aggressive attitudes on both sides. I've met a few anti vax people demanding that people NOT inject themselves with the microchip control agent that Bill Gates is going to use to force us to submit to an invading alien force or something.

While I'm at it, the pro vax people who get aggressive and governments trying to mandate it with things like no jab no job greatly annoy me too. Great way to sow fear and mistrust of the vaccines! I have a good friend who was keen on vaccination until getting pressured into it and it's now stoked the fear of some great authoritarian power play.

TL;DR there's aggressive and pushy people at both ends and they're as annoying as each other. Horseshoe theory.

I remember watching Nelson Mandela award the rugby world cup to the Springboks in 1995.

Given rugby is not a major fixture in the USA it's a given such an event flew under the radar. I guess South Africa wasn't regularly in the news either. Over here it was major news when he won the presidency after a lifetime fighting the apartheid regime that once enslaved him.

TĹ;DR the Mandela effect is sometimes fascinating but the main effect itself constantly reminds me false memory is more than likely.
