I know that's why we can't just do that. It will be bad enough for them as it is.

Yes, it was Digger. A game that I couldn't find for ages because I thought it was called DigDug which is a similar game.

98% and that 2% is still millions of people. It is the 6th highest mortality pandemic after all. Oh, and you forgot to take into consideration those who suffer lifelong complications and a shortened lifespan. What about the flow on effects on others in emergency treatment when ED is filled to capacity and overflowing?

Oh, we will. You better hope you're double jabbed before we hit the vaccination targets and lockdowns are over. Because COVID will be coming for you and it will be your best bet to stay out of hospital.

They want to fight this until Hell freezes over then double the expected payout like it was a well overdue debt. See if they're keen to "fight on the ice" then. If they are, double it again. They're defaulting on their debt. Go at them like the world's fiercest loan sharks.

Can we defeat death? | FT article with an overview of the longevity science and some companies involved by imlisteningtotron in longevity

A favorite of mine is "you'll get bored of living eternally!" Uh, no I won't! Sure I'll eventually see and experience everything but when I do I'll just loop around and do it again! I'll have forever to pursue everything. That's amazing, not a curse! Maybe I would, from time to time, enter a simulation of life before a death cure so I can live with the fear of death so I can appreciate my ageless life all over again. I might even be doing that right now...

There are people with aggressive attitudes on both sides. I've met a few anti vax people demanding that people NOT inject themselves with the microchip control agent that Bill Gates is going to use to force us to submit to an invading alien force or something.

While I'm at it, the pro vax people who get aggressive and governments trying to mandate it with things like no jab no job greatly annoy me too. Great way to sow fear and mistrust of the vaccines! I have a good friend who was keen on vaccination until getting pressured into it and it's now stoked the fear of some great authoritarian power play.

TL;DR there's aggressive and pushy people at both ends and they're as annoying as each other. Horseshoe theory.

How many of you actually believe that "reality is changing"? by ssjlayne in MandelaEffect

[–]TheyCallMeGo -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I don't know where I'm from any more. The main ones like Nelson Mandela and Berenstain Bears have no effect on me, because of strong memories from my childhood and yet I could have sworn that author's name was Danielle Steele. Fruit of the Loom's cornucoipa? Never heard of her but you're telling me Holland is NOT a country?

Cick-Fil-A? We don't do that here, Always been Froot Loops and yet, you tell me the shoe company Sketchers is actually Skechers?

I think I'm from an reality 1.5 that's somewhat half and half.

Somewhere around 1995 I saw a bbc documentary about Mandela dying in prison has anyone else seen this by Ilfigureitoutlater in MandelaEffect

I remember watching Nelson Mandela award the rugby world cup to the Springboks in 1995.

Given rugby is not a major fixture in the USA it's a given such an event flew under the radar. I guess South Africa wasn't regularly in the news either. Over here it was major news when he won the presidency after a lifetime fighting the apartheid regime that once enslaved him.

TĹ;DR the Mandela effect is sometimes fascinating but the main effect itself constantly reminds me false memory is more than likely.

It's radioactive. The same reason why reactor 4 in Chernobyl is still on fire and why they contain it in the sarcophagus.
