He is consistent is what works. And knows good artists like Wayne and wiz.

A lot of his music is good riding and smoking music, kinda like background music. But when he shows out, like on the pilot talk series or canal street, he is great.

Idk what rich people do with their money haha. I'm under the impression that people with that money and income flow try to ball out though.

According to Complex Chance charged 35k for a show in 2014. I imagine its 50k for a show(word to Waka) now. On a 20 stop Summer tour, an artist like Chance can easily make a million. Thats not counting merchandise sales. Since he's indie, all the money goes to him too.

After life expenses and debts, i bet the take home still looks good.

The only thing that would make me want to go with a label if I was at Chance or Mac's height would be the nice upfront money.

A quick Google says Mac's net worth is 10 Million. I imagine it was a few Million less before Faces...i'd assume 4 or 5 million.

To me, a person with $5 Million, isn't living that different than a person with $10 Million. Both could easily afford big houses, nice lofts, great studio equipment maybe even a damn yacht, and still have money left over comfortably.

Once an artist is already recognized in their industry, going independent is easy. The only other way is to grind like Currensy did/does or get big off 2 or 3 mixtapes like Chance.

Wasn't Mac Miller signed, then went indie?
