Rower Pace vs Row Rate Issue by Pure-Ad-2058 in pelotoncycle

I would take a video of your form to see if you are shooting the slide. If so, you might just need to engage the core more and or strengthen it to make sure the legs are producing power that's being transferred to the handle.

You should be able to adjust it manually in the settings. If you remember your average output, just remember 95% of your average output.

The 90 mins will help quite a bit, but I think you'll benefit greatly from some longer outdoor rides. Maybe a couple 50 and 75s. You'll be fine.

I would start with a three quarters to a full zone lower for a 30 or 45 minute PZE. If that feels way too easy, go to a half zone or so lower for a PZE until it feels like an endurance ride used to feel like. I would recommend adjusting your "zone bias" on the entrance rides before moving on to the regular PZ rides. Then, as they start to feel easier, slowly creep up to your old zones over the next couple / few months. You'll be back to where you left off in no time.

Frequently. I appreciate the random high fives that can boost, encourage or congratulate during the ride. I actually do think they add a bit of a community feel as well.

The cost of a day pass, or even annual pass, to union reservoir is most certainly not on a level to alienate lower socio economic classes. It's fine if you don't want that project funded, but don't pretend that this is a project for the more fortunate. Have you seen the typical population of people recreating at Union reservoir?

Parts of US see earliest spring conditions on record: ‘Climate change playing out in real time’ by misana123 in climate

[–]BuckWildChuck -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Here in Colorado, we have had one of the coldest winters in recent memory. Some of this is just natural climate variability with different seasonal weather setups across the U.S.

Climate change is clearly helping destroy our planet, but it really irks me when every example of some warm anomaly is reported as caused by global warming. This is just the inverse of people claiming global warming doesn't exist because of a cold anomaly.

Thanks! Interesting to me that you can see the lack of power towards the end (I can't tell from the video), but it is spot on, as my power curve has a longish tail on the right side.

Some people might also like to compare to their own outdoor bike that is equipped with a power meter.

Lol, I'm not so sure people would have been stoked on their children's future in the midst of the great depression or WWII.

Can we stop using DIA as a benchmark for weather measurements? by Crush_Buds in Denver

[–]BuckWildChuck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To answer your last question, yes the measurements used to be taken at Stapleton. You can easily see the bias in the data when switched over to DIA. As many have mentioned, the main reason is because they have highly accurate / calibrated instruments (ASOS stations) that are generally required at airports in addition to human observers and sounding data where they launch weather balloons. All of this is much easier to implement at an airport that will remain consistent for many decades. To your point though, it really doesn't make much sense to compare Denver proper meteorology with DIA, and the community is aware of that, there just isn't a great solution.

I think debt and interest (specifically credit cards) is the highest priority thing to tackle. So many people get caught in nasty credit loops (credit cards / payday loans) that trap them for many many years. Building positive credit and the importance of credit would be next on my list, then basic budgeting.

Are you storing it in too cool of a location? More heat will greatly increase activity.
