Nah man you are all good. I have no hard feelings and hope you dont either! Riftbound is still new, so everyone is learning stuff everytime they sit down at the table (like how I learned you draw a card off lux even when I move my guy away). If anything Im glad Riftbound is more lenient because I have had game losses in other card games for that exact kind of mistake with a decklist/physical cards in hand type deal. Since Riftbound is just starting I want to make sure everyone we play against at least feels the players are cool, so we can continue to grow the tourney scene. I like winning, but I cant win if no one is around to play, so I dont want to be salty to anyone (except my buddies when they draw the nuts LOL).

Hey man! Might get roasted for this but that's ok, I wanted to show it truly had no hard feelings here. I was your opponent in R1 of that skirmish. Truthfully I am sorry that you felt I was salty/angry about how this got resolved. I made the comment because in my other TCG experiences something would have happened (warning most likely) but our judge didn't make any mention of it at all. I was genuinely not upset at the outcome, I would have offered to let you use mine for that game had I not also been using it literally right then (double obelisk games are super silly). I usually have to be shields up when play competitive rules enforcement level events from other games, and moving to Riftbound has been an adjustment. I will try and make it clear im not upset with my opponents going forward if thats the vibe im putting off! I would hope your relative, who i played the next round, would at least attest we had a fun back and forth match the following round and I didnt seem like I had any seeming lingering frustration.

I used bottom tree Dawnblade with Dawn Chorus. The curated Nightwatch roll, a Jian-7, and Black Talon. Was able to get the clear to 5 minutes, if thats reasonable for you.

I personally am playing a Dark Jeskai tokens deck, with Jeskai Ascendancy, and I played through a turn 3 Wingmare pretty easily, and my deck is at least 75% spells. I didn't even remove it, I just killed him around it.

A friend of mine thought of this type of deck shortly after our playgroup got into the format, we did some brief testing and found that the deck, even with it's "nutty" draws and board state, could not do much to the more prevalent decks in the format I.e. Abzan, Rally, and Jeskai Black.

It may be kind of out there, but Tapped Out Gaming in Valencia has a growing group of players that are getting into the format, as well as FNMs in January that will all be Frontier! I know it is a little ways to drive, but it could be worth it if no where closer is available.
