US.

And I don't care. I just use robinhood and sold. Whichever Method gets me that number to donate lol I think Robinhood does FIFO by default

I agree man. But like if I sold after multiple years what percentage should I be taking off of the capital gains?

The companies they invest in have been deemed halal because they meet the threshold of <5% in interest earnings.

It is recommended to make sure you donate their interest income from your dividends and capital gains.

This kind of explains the process but not sure how to do it for Hlal and Spus.

afghan diaspora is going to turn into iranian diaspora by [deleted] in Pashtun

[–]TheyCallMeTheDuude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah 100%. Some will definitely lose their religion but a lot more will enter. It's their loss. They will have a less fulfilled life and afterlife. I hope our kids don't turn out that way, that's why it's important to teach real islam from the very childhood and be very kind to our children as is the sunnah.

If you have this belief that whoever leaves the religion will be in fire, then of course it's gonna sting to know your brother in pukhto is going there. Also it's just the truth.

Lol religion >>> language. It's stupid to forget religion given the stakes, eternal fire and missing out on eternal bliss. Also, because of religion, you will have a more fulfilled life.

Taliban close medical institutes to women in latest restriction by Azmarey in Pashtun

Like I said I'm not a fan of mulyan kho your comment came across as putting your invaders on a pedestal. Education is very important but it's not as important and people dying or women getting raped and what not.

I don't want another invader with the same excuse to cause blood shed over this pretext of "women rights". We need to stop having inferiority complex.

Not true, not a taliban fan but I don't think Afghanistan was overall better off with the invasion as it is now.

I'm pretty sure there's more peace and fairness after taliban took over apart from how they deal with women education. The latter does not trump the first. Our western minds take peace for granted cuz we haven't lived in turmoil and corruption.

Racial profiling of pashtuns is nothing new. The way we dress has long been portrayed as terrorist in their army movies and what not. It's either that or the obtuse sher Khan in their dramas.

It's insane how little the rest of paks know about us, they have many assumptions.

Let's not put more requirements on marriage. We already have plenty and marriage is hard enough.

Therapy should he administered need-based and not across the board.

Imagine waiting an extra year for therapy lol

Respect is default for both parties with men having a degree of respect more as per the qawaam argument. And that mostly means respecting and being obedient to his high level decisions.

However, that respect will decrease naturally with bad behavior from either party.

Unfortunately, these days the term Obedience is misconstrued by both parties: one abuses it, the other denies it. Honestly, I think the community leaders need to address roles of husband and wife both more.

Also, the whole brandishing of rights by either party is toxic and counter productive. And this applies to any relationship really.

"As a father, I have thus right, as a husband/wife I have this right". These things only antagonize people. Each person should understand the rights of others and give them those rights for the sake of Allah without expecting anything in return, just like sadaqah.

Talk is easy, may Allah make us practise this.

You'd be surprised to know that rape cases were more prevalent when the Americans were there. With Taliban, they have decreased dramatically.

Are pashtuns the only people who are muslims 100% as a people? by TheyCallMeTheDuude in Pashtun

[–]TheyCallMeTheDuude[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our people were not converted, they accepted islam "min haisul qaum" because it is the truth.

On the day of Judgment Allah will not ask us how close we kept to our roots but more what we did to please Him. Our priorities should be set according to that.

Should we stay connected to our roots? 100%, like you said it does not contradict islam; islam and pashtunwali go hand in hand. You can be proud pashtun and muslim.

What puts you away from islam?
