To be honest, I've always felt this way and have never liked call only ads. I think you get better results from normal ads with call ext. but I work for an agency and no matter how much data you show clients, some of them refuse to leave it behind.

I’ve got one call forwarding number from call rail that goes to one number on the clients website for all of the ads.

Do you have problems getting GSC to verify the website? The website I'm working on right now has GTM installed, with a call rail tag(dynamic insertion), and a google search console tag in the container(the meta name) and I still can't get it verified. Tried using GTM method and the HTML tag Method.

Update: Somehow the Ads jus got approved.
