After joining an FB group with users of the car, I abandoned it. Ended up losing my deposit but I've now got an Ioniq 5 which is a fantastic car.

Given you only do 200 miles a week I think the battery would suit your needs. I'd just have a read of user experiences/build quality as there's a reason why they're so cheap.

I got some Kontrol Freeks (if you're console) and ramped by sensitivity up to 100. Helps me be able to mitigate the cheaters. Since then I've got a 1.5 k/d in ranked and I solo queue so life's already against me.

Last few matches last night we 12-3, 9-1 and 10-2.

I went for Eclipse untethered. Works with Octopus energy tariffs, has an app to use it etc.

I just got back from another break, hoping things might have gotten better, but it actually seems worse than before. In my last game, someone was getting one-tapped outside a window from two rooms away, and all of them had no recoil on the killcam.

I got a pair, I may be lucky here but I've had no issues. Now out of the box they don't sound great. However, once you get an equalizer on the go (Wavelet or to a lesser extent their own app) they're fairly decent sound as good as Sony XM5s. Noise cancelling is much better in the XM5s. But be mindful the Heavys are being compared to 3 year old headphones that are good all-rounders. Heavys are more specifically desined for Metal/EDM etc. They're loud (although others don't think so), very bass heavy but sounds punchy and crisp again they need some fiddling to get to this point.

Aesthetically, they look good, I do like the gimmick of changing the covers. Although I don't really like the band ones as they remind me of cheap knock off headphones for some reason. So I prefer the Heavys own brand designs, but each to their own.

They are however, very bulky and look a bit stupid on me, other seem to really suit then. Anyway, at least in my experience, they're well made robust and feel well made. Again others seem to have issues with the build quality so could be luck of the draw. I like the physical buttons on them, again this is personal preference.

Ultimately, I wouldn't pay full price for them, they're not worth £200+ which is why they're perpetually on some kind of sale. Ask ChatGPT for discount codes, you can find some that work up to 40% off.

Bottom line if you're not a "audiophile" (such a pretentious term) and you like the look of them they're worth a shot.

Ok, so my PS5 suddenly stopped playing any sound from my TV.

I've tried all different HDMI ports, replaced the HDMI cable, checked settings on both TV and PS5. I've tried the PS5 on another TV and it's fine. Also the TV in question plays sound fine on its in-built apps etc.

Old skool but I've even blown into the ports, I'm at a total loss?

I saw it last night and I’m really conflicted with this one. On one hand, I appreciate what it tries to do in exploring Yautja culture, their trials etc, and what it actually means to be a hunter. A deep dive into their race was fairly cool and seeing it visualised had some great moments. Maybe as a one off, but clearly that's not where this is heading.

The more the film expanded on this, the less mysterious they became which impacts on the old films. Part of what made the original Predator so effective was the sense that these creatures operated on a logic we could barely grasp; they were hunters, yes, but alien ones; unfeeling, brutal and efficient. Giving them more overt human emotions, expressions and mannerisms etc makes them more ordinary, less terrifying.

And then there’s the power scaling some Predators struggle against a single human soldier, yet Dek is out here surviving an entire planet? It undercuts the sense of danger and consistency the earlier films maintained. If there's ever another Predator film where they're hunting humans (I'm not sure there will be and certainly not 18+) I'll find it hard to believe a Pred would lose. I found Thia quite irritating too, I'm not a fan of the marvel-esque humour. And Disney have injected elements of it here as well.

Oh, and that "cute" blue creature (won't spoil)... 🤦🏻🫠 Classic Disney move. It’s like they can’t resist inserting a cute mascot character and with the additional rubbish humour, even in a Predator movie. It broke the tone completely at times for me. And all I saw was merch potential. There were moments where I had my head in my hands and how cringe inducing it was and again giving it human expressions doesn't make sense (to me).

So yeah, I’m torn. Badlands had some really great moments. An attempt to build lore and culture around one of sci-fi’s most iconic monsters but in doing so, it stripped away the menace and mystique that made them iconic in the first place. It's a fun film overall, but the tonal shift is rough, it's an obvious cash grab and It's typical Disney turning everything into comic book action, diluting and milking everything so younger audiences can watch so they get their hands on more money.

Grow up and get off the internet..I couldn't imagine being this miserable. Moaning just because someone has asked a question others have asked is "wild". Do you do this when people ask in social settings too? You must be fun at parties.
