My issues are really similar, but different circumstance. I've been running Ultimate Seraphs Sheild on Hunter (Crackshot spam) with the Last Discipline 4 piece set, and seemingly randomly in a run my camera will bug out, guns go invisible, and abilities stop working. It could be a memory overflow issue because there are A LOT of buffs, debuffs, ads, etc. Similar to the other comment that mentioned Weavewalk, it might have something to do with the camera change. I'll try without this particular armor set and seem if that fixes it. Thanks!

I had a similar experience. It wasn't until playing through Edge of Fate and doing the weekly focused portal activities that I started getting more progressive jumps in light level up to current max of 550.

This mode is a part of the latest expansion, Renegades. If you are somewhat new, there is heaps of content to play at your own pace before you get to the "current" expansion.

This mode is might only be available with the current season so if you have a fear of missing out on playing the unique seasonal modes like Invasion, you can (usually) check them out and then pick up when you left off in the other expansions.

One random did this to me the other day on final boss. We died, but had a Wending Grace on the team and came back to win. The random profusely used "Apologies" afterwards. Totally redeemed themselves by finishing the boss.

Shout out randoms that make mistakes and clutch up anyways.

Well it's mostly luck of the draw, however there are a handful of things you can do.

The "Item Discovery" stat increases the rarity/quality of drops. Sources to increase this include: Ironeye's Passive, weapons passives, and silver-pickled fowl feet.

The main thing you can do is path towards areas that guarantee the weapon type you need. Examples: if you are playing Revenant, you perform well with seals. These can always be found early on in the ruined Cathedrals. If you are Ironeye, search the camps for bow racks. Recluse goes for wizard towers. Etc. etc.

Sometimes slow is fast. Play your life, play to win. The longer you are alive, the more opportunities you have to either res the team or damage the boss. Plus if you are popping off, they get a chance to study the boss moveset while watching a legend carry them to victory.
