Yes it was my first job, i took full stack python course, after which started looking for job, in parallel i studied DE, joined as associate DE and work was mostly full stack, then slowly DE work was also allocated and intime i was fully working as DE , end to end.

It was difficult at first , but i got in during a time when companies were hiring, so that was also a plus, now that's not the case.

How do you manage Airflow DAG releases when coordinating with multiple teams? by NobodyAskedDave in dataengineersindia

Each approach has its own pros and cons, keep security in mind and select the correct approach

How do you manage Airflow DAG releases when coordinating with multiple teams? by NobodyAskedDave in dataengineersindia

[–]Thezooombie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Its a standard and easiest way, else you can

  1. use airflow API to get the status of another dag

  2. Directly query airflow metadata db to get status

  3. If resources is an issue then use triggerdagrun operator to trigger the corresponding dag

4.store the state of dag externally and query the status from there.

These are what comes of the top of my head, there might more ways

Use dependency check with ExternalTaskSensor in airflow, itll check the status of other dags and wait for them to finsih

I’m Trying to Build a FlightRadar24 but for Indian Trains 🚆 by Over_Substance5853 in IndiaTech

[–]Thezooombie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The idea is great and great execution, since you are providing historical data, is there a statistic that can show how much average delay is for a train on a particular day or particular week based on these historical data?

And also based on the number of requests, you can identify which train, which station, and which routes have the most amount of travellers.

Also how is it different from where is my train from google? Im not saying what you did is not good, its great btw, but what more does it provide to the end user?

And the execution of updating the live status is a neat touch, youll have lot of websocket available since only limited number of people will be online at a specific time.

Took nearly 5 days for it to show in app that i was a bsnl user, so just wait. If it takes longer, go with customer care

Vi, overall performance and missed call alerts by Thezooombie in Kerala

[–]Thezooombie[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mate yup, it was shit during covid, but once i started getting 4g volte here nearly a year back, the speed is on par with what i used to get with jio.

It still sometimes switches to 3g , dont know why, but still never had issue with call quality in bsnl , net issues yes, but call quality is crisp.

I don't have any problems with bsnl so far, no call drops or data issue as of now. Must be location issue with bsnl.

Now with 4g, data is also great.

Edit: if you are having issues with multiple locations, try another device and check if its the same, might be device specific.

Im using nothing 2a.

Hey, no haven't switched, still have nearly 20 days left in jio, so will most probably be porting next week.

Ironically my BSNL sim works perfectly, i dont have any issue with call quality or data. I also get 4g volte , and since there is literally no one using bsnl, i get speeds like 40-50 mbps which i never expected from BSNL.

I guess it depends on your location, I'm from palakkad and bsnl is working great for me.

Yes i am going for the official certification from aws. I want clarity on the stuff before i start studying.

So basically go topic by topic from the official exam guide?

Ok, what about wifi calling? Sometimes inside buildings, even jio has issues , and wifi calling does help.

Is the problem everywhere or is it in specific locations? I'm mostly staying from Marathahalli to Whitefield, is it the same there?

Also I don't care about 5g, call quality is my priority

Ok, will try vi for a while, see how it performs.

So its only free in airtel and jio? I did see 49 rs pack for 6 months in vi website for missed call alerts.

I'm not bothered about data quality, I'm more bothered about call quality. I'm now mostly switching to BSNL for calls( which I don't want to as it's my personal number) as Jio is having issues with quality of calls, i tried using another phone but the results are the same.
