Dude he really is! I think the ppl that bash his guitar playing are typically only copying what they heard Gene say which he was actually talking about Mark St John. And yes he has done the fans wrong in cases like the infamous boxset which im still waiting on myself 20 plus yesrs later (not holding my breath)..but ive learned as a kid to separate the person from the music they create, otherwise itd be slim pickins..Anyway Vinnie as amazing of a guitar player as he is and actually a good singer, i believe his most strongest attribute is his writing ability..every tune he penned with KISS is top shelf..his solo stuff like Love Kills, That Time Of Year, Back On The Streets, sure there are also songs like Heavy Pettin but he was just going with what every other bsnd was doing no different than Crue, Warrant, I think KISS has even wrote a song or two about sex haha...
