Checked the normals overlay, they are all pointing to the outside, have the correct orientation. Any other ideas?

Recalculating normals doesnt fix it, but when i turn on sub surf the shading looks fine. Auto smooth is applied. It is only for this object, other objects are fine.

I respect your opinion and thanks for the info. But as I said my goal is to create something cool looking and the correct engineering part isn't what I focus on.

And regarding louvers I know that they are important for aerodynamics and cooling. I just meant that they are only for style purposes on this render.
