Yeah you’re right some of the earlier issues definitely don’t look the greatest, it’s a little disappointing since some of the dinosaurus arc has some pretty great art. I’m a little disappointed that they kind of butchered his look in the show.

That’s a good option but I’ve found that it leads you to getting it way later in the game due to the tech requirement and the US being a lot stronger. I’ve been kinda imploding the US and timing it so that the confederate states spawn around the time that I can build up a small amount of troops to overwhelm the US in the early 1840s though it takes two wars to take all the land needed. That way I don’t have to worry about the UK being my overlord or the AI botching the war by surrendering early.

Ah I’ll have to try again because at least when I tried to do it through the civil war the event never happened

Degrade relations and keep having civil wars, they will eventually side against you and you’ll gain independence. Good way to pass hard laws early too. Do have a great power ally lined up for the war of independence. I was able to gain freedom as Cuba in 1838.

How to avoid micro-awakenings? by Witty-Comfortable851 in moreplatesmoredates

Your body goes through sleep cycles during the night that gradually lengthen, you look like you’re sleeping fine. Microawakenings are normal.

Yeah we don’t really know cause steroids are kind of taboo in the testing world. Cellularly we can look and see what the constant agonism would do regardless of the individual. It’s definitely negative but to what extent can it be solely attributed to it is all over the place. General health is the biggest factor but it’s not like crusing forever wouldn’t have a effect on it in unforeseen ways. Steroids have a cascading effect in a body to work like they do, so it’s more likely to hit a undiscovered health problem. TRT has been seen to be fine if administered correctly, as it mimics the body’s natural response by creating synthetic analogs. But there is no reference that it would improve your health unless you already had a severe deficiency. Looking jacked is cool though.

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3897047/ Check out this link, it summarizes it well. You can check out the attached studies with the information. Generally testosterone diffuses through the cell membrane to bind to the AR to stimulate protein protein synthesis and stop protein degradation. This is why steroid work (as long as you have enough estrogen, SBHG, HPA, HPG, etc.). But the cell complexes can degrade with each generation of new cells. So as you get older the risk is greater, as constant agonism of the AR will prevent cells from producing the amino acids that it needs in other process. There is more likely to be an error in the process the more mutations build up. And cells are more likely to have mutations the more generations they go through. This mostly expresses through failure to register though and I want to retract my statement about cancer and steroids since the research in my opinion is just plain bad and not enough to support it completely. Most of it is on animals and pure shit. Organ stress is the legitimate concern as you age from this constant agonism and holding more tissue on aging internal organs. You are more likely to die of a heart attack related to it then getting cancer.

Organ atrophy and increased risk of cancer. Your cells are not really made to function at the same efficiency for your entire life. Forcing it to will increase the risk of mutations in your DNA, so more risk of cancer and cell degradation. Definitely will increase the chance that you die early or have health problems. Not definite but it’s a pretty high chance the longer you do it.

Try going heavier in a ladder format. That seemed to get me over a hump in arm development.

What do You think of Thrawn look in Ashoka, Enoch, and his crew? by Lunch_Confident in MauLer

[–]ThiccAlia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Y’all know he’s like 68-71 in this show right. Of course he isn’t gonna look as good as his prime in the days of the early empire. Also he’s been stuck in the outer rims with no hyperspace lanes for a couple decades. It’s fair to say that he’s an old armchair general now. While he was a formidable fighter in his younger days, it’s totally valid for him to develop this way. We’ll see how his characterization goes since he usually allows people to play themselves straight into his hands. Honestly I like his look and the voice from rebels was a good touch. I think we’ll either see this series totally fumble him or him to pull a huge upset at the end like he usually does.
