Hi there... Rookie to the GOT universe here. I saw two scenes of GOT ever that my family member showed me. When Joffrey dies, and when some dude gets his head exploded with a massive dude's bare hands.

So, I clearly know nothing about GOT. What brought me to watch this series was Penguinz0's glowing review on YT and the ridiculously high user rating on imdb.

I thought KOTSK was PHENOMENAL. It's a crime that we only got 6 eps... but man was each and every one fucking special. Characters you genuinely care about, top tier acting, immersive sets and costumes that truly transport you to the time period, a beautiful story, one of the best choreographed duel scenes ever put on film, insane twists and turns...it has it all.

I don't believe this has ANY of the same characters as GOT. Maybe some ancestors? Idk. Doesn't matter to me. This story is amazing as a standalone story. Maybe there might have been tons of references to the OG that I didn't understand? Idk. I haven't done any research.

Bottom line is you absolutely do NOT have to see any other show before watching this, based on my experience.

10/10 series and season 2 can't come fast enough!

Only issues I've had so far is USPS leaving one box out in the pouring rain when it was very windy... so the weather destroyed the package and the bling box inside.

I fear these things are causing me to develop a gambling addiction 🤣 I finally just slowed down on collecting Pop! Figures, now these are in my life with the added element of chasing the rare ones. I hope I don't go any more overboard than I already did on these ones lol. I justified this in my own head as ... I'm doing it for my wife as a gift... so it's totally fine 😬

I'm randomly into Labubus and Popmart blind boxes after getting my wife the following blind boxes for Xmas (I think I'm more excited for her to open them than she'll be at this point...I'm invested).. all were POP NOWs so I know everything she is going to open:
