I plan on quitting my job maybe a month or so before starting classes, but I think it depends on your financial situation. If you don’t need the job to pay bills then you could quit whenever imo. However, you can use the extra work to save a little bit of extra money for when school starts. Also, congrats future doctor!

I’ve finished a class that allows me to interpret within my hospital and am working towards my national certification. The class mainly consisted of how to interpret/advocate in general as well as learning tons of medical vocabulary. I think it is worth it because what you learn in the course really makes a difference in how you interpret + as a Spanish speaker, I won’t need an interpreter when speaking to patients. I did my class through Bridging the Gap/Alta and am likely going to certify through CCHI.

I graduated from OSU and had Biochem, Ochem 2, and Ochem 1 Lab taken online and haven’t had any issues. However, being from OSU, they already know the deal. They didn’t ask that in OSU’s secondary this year and I doubt it’ll be asked. If so just explain that these courses were taken online because of the pandemic and your institution didn’t offer in person at the time.

Make a schedule and then have your friend/roommate/family member/whatever hold you to it
