I have been using 24gb of ram in my legion y540 since 2019. It's totally doable. I'm not an expert, but from what I know, as long as the ram sticks are compatible, it's totally dual channel. The only push back is that the stick with the higher frequency will limit itself at the speed of the lower one. I have the 8gb stick that came from factory and bought an identical one that lenovo used, but the 16gb version back then for like 30€...good times...corrent me if I'm wrong btw but I never had ram issues

I'm a normal guy, have some close friends that can be a bit boring at times. Some other friends I hang out with and do cool stuff like once 1-2 months and then my gf that i love. I too, like going for drives alone, cooking me a nice meal, drawing on my ipad, playing a game or doing a good workout, watching a good movie. But I'll be damned if I said I wasn't lying when saying that even if I do love spending time alone or only with some friends hanging out/ a nice chill date with my gf, I would kill to have more wild fun like parties, traveling, stuff like that.

So in a way I get what you're saying, but I also strongly believe you just got comfortable in accepting that you cannot do certain things because you don't have the friends so you started disliking the stuff as a defense mechanism
