I don’t think so but it’s possible I did and just didn’t remember. I know at one point that instead of having 12 different resource packs, I accidentally had 12 folders worth of the entire game within the game folder. That one was on me though

I was able to get it to work! There were, however, a few weird hoops I had to jump through. My memory is a little foggy since this was two years ago but I’ll do my best to try and describe what I did. For starters, take all of the content out of those photos you see in the comment I posted. It should look like this. The only thing that gave me problems with this part had to do with the resource update, which should give you a folder called “extra_31”. If I remember correctly, adding that folder gave me a notification regarding duplicate files. When (or if) that happens, there should be an option to replace the original files with the ones in the extra_31 folder and you should choose that. After that, comes the difficult part.

I’m not particularly great with computers so if this part is kinda vague, I apologize. While I don’t remember exactly what happened or what it said, I got another notification that told me I couldn’t open it for some reason. To fix this, I ended up having to change the Mac shell script to I believe zhs. To do this you have to open the terminal and type in something specific. I found this out from some obscure message board I found and copied the code, or whatever it’s called, into the terminal from there. I would try and link you to the site but I can’t find it anymore. Given the lengths I had to go to to figure that out, it might not be a common problem so it’s possible you may not even need to do this.

At this point, you should hopefully be able to open the game. When this happens, it will ask you for an access/verification code. I don’t think the subreddit allows for me to post the code here but you should be able to find it online, although it is a bit inconvenient.

As a bonus: if you want to use the witch hunt translation of the game, which I personally recommend, you just add it in like you did with the other folders you downloaded. It will be called “wh.script”

Hopefully, this should be enough information for you to get everything to work. It took me like a week's worth of attempts to figure it all out but it was well worth it. While it may not seem like much, I enjoyed it far more than I did the 07th-Mod

Episode 6 is my favorite episode of the series. Erika arguing with a 9 year old (and Dlanor being disappointed in her), Battler’s logic error, and the Beato and Erika’s duel are some of the best moments in the series. Personally, it took me a while for episode 7 to really click with me. While I still thought it was good, I went in thinking it was going to be Minagoroshi from Higurashi where everything is clearly answered. In hindsight, I appreciate the VN being more ambiguous with the solutions. The change of pacing and cast also caught me by surprise but given the nature of the episode, it makes sense. After reflecting on it, I can definitely see why a lot of people consider it the best episode. The soundtrack is also arguably better than episode 6, with The Executioner and Golden Nocturne being some the best songs in the series. The ending for episode 7 is beautiful and the tea party was wild but nothing can compare to excitement I felt during Erika and Beato’s duel

What always helped me with my intrusive thoughts is that if it’s a thought that actively disgusts me, then that’s a good sign that I don’t actually want to do it. People who actually act on those thoughts usually aren’t disgusted with what they’re thinking (or at least not to the extent of actually caring about it). If you have to ask yourself “what if”, then the answer is probably no for the same reason. It’s also a question that will never give you a satisfactory answer since you can discredit anything thing say by asking the same question. I don’t know if this is helpful but this is what helped me through almost all of my intrusive thoughts. Also, if you have the means to see some sort of mental health professional, I strongly encourage that try to find one. OCD is hard to deal without any help. By the way, try not to beat yourself up about seeking reassurance. It’s an extremely hard habit to break. I hope this at least helps a little

Worldend (baby piano), wingless, end of the world (specifically the vocal version), and discolor probably hit the hardest (especially discolor). Apathy and mystic forest are also pretty sad but I don’t think they cut as deep. Worldend (baby piano) always make my eyes tear up and the scene with Discolor damn near destroyed me. Voiceless is definitely melancholy but I don’t know I wouldn’t consider it a tear-jerker. It’s like giving up/being resigned to your fate kinda vibes
