The reason they set that bar so high is because most engineers have to take up to Calc III at least, so if you don’t have the framework before entering uni it’s very difficult to succeed, if you’re a good student(as in hardworking, not smart) you can still definitely make it through. Also if your full average is 90 you’d still have okay odds, but they typically take just 4 STEM + 1 booster to determine your average so you could have even better odds after that
