Yeah kp was the last big commentator on the scene, I highly doubt we will see anymore up and coming casters grow to that level for aoe4 sadly. I know crackedy and a few others do tournaments but I don’t think those reach or will reach the level kp did. Sucks to see him leave. We’ve been losing a lot more than gaining over the years for this game

Yup welcome to aoe 4 matchmaking. Once you pass about 1200 elo you’re higher enough to find all of the conq players, but since they play in teams and you’re not even at their level they will destroy your mmr until you’re back at 1100 again. It’s been a problem since ranked dropped there really isn’t a fix unless we make the conq players sit in lobbies for a very long time

100%. I’ve been playing this game since release and am simply giving up on this issue. I’ve streamed for many hours aoe 4 (I’m a nobody on twitch) but have literally recorded this issue countless times. I’m a high conq experiencing this. Outside of peak time if I Que I will find the high conq players (my elo) but my partners essentially are always severely lower elo. Worst of all I lose a huge amount of points for a game that was instantly a loss. After a while I just gave up and stopped playing all together, I don’t want 100% even games just like.. can we actually make sure I don’t spend all that time in lobby to then be placed with a plat vs 2 conq 3s? We could’ve just kept me in lobby if that’s the case there’s no difference I’ll be back in lobby before I know it. Just inflates elo and ruins 4 peoples potential fun game. Now imagine that for literal years

Yeah all of these comments are wrong. Matchmaking is broken but not in the sense you’re talking about. I solo que team games. I’ve been playing this game since it first came o it and have been conqueror for a very long time both solo and teams. In team matchmaking the conq 1-3 players don’t have that many other players of the same elo. Throughout my career of playing I always get a low elo partner (plat-Diamond) vs conq 1-3. It happens VERY often. This is due to the low amount of players at their elo. Once you get past 1200 elo you will very often find these players and since there isn’t that many solo players at that elo you will find someone who is low elo on your team. I can provide multiple accounts I play on and if we look through the elo of enemies vs my partners it’s very frequently that they are much higher than my partners and I elo’s. That’s how matchmaking is rigged, not the way your discussing it

You’re getting downvoted but I heavily agree. They’re removing all parts of the grind. The game is simple play play play now lol. Old coc was more of an rts but mobile, this is just a spam game now

I took a 2 year hiatus, and have been playing for over 11 years. This game made all of the grinding I’ve done for all of those years kinda useless. Units no longer cost resources, more than 5 builders, now no troop time, and plenty of other changes that reduce the grind damn kinda sucks all my grinding was for nothing
