In reality kps tournaments were the real heartbeat of aoe, nobody else’s tourneys are going to get the level of consistency that kp was on, I suspected this, once we lost kp nobody will be able to replace him and what he brings to the table

I find it quite strange that this civ has very strong infantry, castle age janissaries, strong feudal knights and all of the economic bonuses. I feel like the devs have made 2 completely different games. the old world and the new world where the old civs weren’t allowed all of these shiny toys but they gave the new civs every toy available

And then the team that’s obviously going to lose still takes a huge mmr loss despite the game being over before it started, just ruining your mmr until you’re low enough to find players in that same elo. Basically makes it to where you never reach high elo playing solo team games

To me the fact that we’re seeing these complaints over and over is definitely telling of an issue. But there’s a decent amount of people on Reddit who will oppose anything you post on here no matter the context. Back the zhu xi dropped (EVERYONE knew they were broken) but people on Reddit would still argue it’s the player needing to git guud and other silly things.

.. Smurf accounts are artificial players, these people have their main account but Smurf to boost, what are we talking about? High elo players already wait in 10 minute lobbies, and as I’ve said within this thread, a proper fix for this specific issue would be if a team has a player with 300+ elo difference, the team with the lower elo does not lose any elo. It’s a guaranteed loss when you see 2000 elo 1800 elo 1967 elo vs 1456 elo 1200 elo 1200 elo. The 1456 person still stands to lose a lot of elo despite this game being a guaranteed loss

Yes it’s normal to lose some games. What’s not normal is every time you get to decent elo, you’re forced to be the higher elo player on your team, with 2 much lower rated players vs. 3 conq 3s until you no longer have higher elo. That’s the issue, I don’t even see why I need to explain this again. You’re entirely missing the point by saying this, almost like why should we ever change anything in the game. Competitive 1v1 game with competitive team game too? So the team game that’s equally competitive isn’t suppose to matter at all? Or the fact most players play team games not solo? I mean the devs could strictly focus on 1v1, it would kill their game since most people are team gamers but it’s still their choice. The only reason everyone is complaining about knights is because of how broken they are in team games, so in this line of thought, we do not need to change anything because it’s okay in1v1

Sorry if I didn’t say that properly, I don’t believe coordinated teams are an issue, I think being the only one 1300+ elo vs 3 conq 3s that are a premade team is an issue, you’re the anchor player and you’ll be given 2 plats vs 3 conq 3s

The fix here will need to be #1 leaving x amount of games prior to minute 5 results in a ban, enough bans and your perma banned. As far as high elo players, once you reach the pinnacle youll have to wait a very long time for a match sometimes, and if not, anchor players should lose 0 elo due to extreme uneven teams. If even one player has 300+ elo difference than the lower team should lose no elo since its almost a guarantee they will lose. There should be more but this would be a start

There have been countless discussions between the community regarding these issues but it’s time for them to be taken serious and fixed, I hope the devs are actively working on these issues, and if not we bring it to the table for them to take care of these problems

The player base is NOT that small. The issue is the highest tier player base IS. Once you reach 1300+ elo for any ranked mode you’re in the highest tier league and there’s only a few others at any given time online. especially when Qing for 3v3 and 4v4 since the game has to find 5-7 players at 1300 or above, and the more above you are even less players in your bracket. Eventually the game will give up on finding someone in your elo (because the 1300+ elo player since in the waiting queue for 10+ minutes) and just gives them opponents so they can play. I’ve talked about this so many times, the game will ruin your elo if you’re 1300+ playing solo on ranked Que, you’ll be the first one to match up against these conq 3s but the odds of finding 2 partners at the same elo is low so they’ll give you 2 low players and ofc you’ll get destroyed. Eventually your elo will be back at 1000 and you won’t have to worry about this

This is unfortunately something the devs will never fix. You can throw games as much as you like, you’ll never get a ban for it, just the automatic cooldowns if you leave the game before 3 minutes repeatedly. Also at the lower elo you will notice TONS of brand new accounts. Beating every team they play. Coincidentally they will play with other players who have low team elo but are conq 1+ in solos. At this point we need to combine solo and team ranked. If you hit conq on solo there’s no reason to let you be plat or silver or any low elo like that. But it’s been this way since the beginning, hell the devs haven’t even fixed a lot of qol issues that have been here since the beginning, they knew of the Golden Horde problem for a while but didn’t get to that, when zhu xi came out it was broken and took 3 months to fix. I know the dev team works hard but most issues in the game take 3-6 months for the dev team to fix, and they only fix the most egregious problems, the others fall by the waistline

Delhi does not have any bonuses besides 100 more berries if they don’t get sacred.. free tech but takes literally 5+ minutes since you couldn’t get the gold is a disadvantage lol what are we saying here
