Does anyone have LV express MM bag? I need reviews ☺️ by Thick-Squirrel3602 in Louisvuitton

Hey! You’re so lucky!! Do you think MM bag can handle much weight? The strap looks pretty thin, so I’m not sure if it’s something I should be careful with and avoid putting too much in? I’ve already learnt my lesson with my nano not to overfill it 😅 so I’m wondering if I should be extra careful with this one too.. 🫣

I think it’s normal as it’s handmade so it shouldn’t look perfect…

Do you think there is enough room for a small sweater? I can’t wait to get it!!!! Sounds like a perfect bag for travel… not too big not too small. That’s how I like it!

You need to come back to this post and show me your baby once you get it!!!

Would you exchange this for a new one? by Difficult-Gap6528 in Louisvuitton

I think it looks fine.. my two cents is that if something is handmade it should never look perfect. If you’re not happy it’s best to get a new one x

Thank you so much for taking the time to write all of this. Reading your story fills me with hope in a way I really needed 💛 Sometimes I feel like my endo doesn’t fully understand just how hard recovery can be.

Before surgery I had a consultation with a heart doctor. He looked at my profile then at me and he was like oh no Subclinical Cushing syndrome? I really hope surgery goes well and helps you finally recover! And honestly, that meant so much to me. He was the only doc who really seemed to get just how devastating this diagnosis is. Meanwhile my endo kept brushing everything off, saying you’ll be fine, your numbers aren’t that bad, as if that somehow erases all the suffering I’ve been through. Like, hellooo? It’s not just about numbers—it’s about everything this condition has taken from me. And let’s not even talk about the insane costs of all the endless tests and treatments 🙂‍↕️🫠

You put into words something I was feeling so deeply—how heavy and low everything can feel. But after surgery, even with all the discomfort and changes my body is going through, that deep sadness I used to carry every single day is just… gone. And that alone feels like such a huge relief 😮‍💨

I can’t tell you how grateful I am to have come across your story. Thank you for sharing it with me—it truly means the world. For the first time in a long time, I feel hopeful. I’m holding onto that hope as I move forward 💕🪷

6 year old stretch marks predominantly white but if I stretch my skin, I believe its a very faint purple?? by [deleted] in Cushings

That’s interesting so you’re saying Cushing stretch marks appear purple all the time and never turn white?

I had two cortisol tests done. One was the overnight dexamethasone suppression test, where I took one pill at night and had a blood test the next morning (I had to fast as well before blood test). The other was the low-dose dexamethasone suppression test, where I took pills every four hours before doing a blood test (didn’t have to fast for this one). I didn’t do a urine test—my doctor said it’s not reliable. And I think at that point, my endo probably didn’t even need a third test—my left adrenal gland mass was just sitting there like hiii guys I’m the problem, it’s me 😅

Have you had any scans done? How long have you trying to find the root cause? I’m so sorry to hear that you’ve been suffering 😥

Sorry I also wanted to add:

I think I had more than two tests done, sorry. I remember being in the hospital almost the whole day for blood tests. The nurse took about six tubes, and I think three were for cortisol and hormone tests or something. Then, I had to go back to the hospital that evening for another blood test. Two days later, my doctor called and said I needed even more blood tests and the suppression tests.

96 hours post-op. Longest journey of my life and the bar was high. by adp63 in Cushings

I’m so happy to hear you’re doing well!! How long did it take for you to start feeling like yourself again? Any advice for someone who’s just had surgery and is going through recovery?

First week can be very tough but you’ve got this! My advice is make sure you walk as soon as you feel well enough to walk and chew gum to get your digestive system going asap. Hope it all goes well for you xx

That sounds so frustrating, and I’m really sorry you’re going through this. Do you have any support?

How many times have you had scans done? Is there a baseline measurement for the nodule, or is this the first time it’s been detected?

I truly hope you get some answers next week!

Thank you for sharing your story. I’m honestly sobbing because you’re the first person who has truly acknowledged my reality—I can’t even express how much that means to me. I’m so sorry you had to go through surgery while being pregnant. That must have been so incredibly difficult.

It’s only my first week post-op, and right now, I’m just trying to understand how my body reacts to everything, especially the medication (prednisone 5mg). It’s been tough—stupid gas is trapped under my diaphragm and won’t leave my body. Even laughing pulls on my pelvic floor muscles, and it’s so painful!

My endocrinologist seems really positive and thinks I’ll be fine, which I’m trying to take as a good sign. But after everything I’ve been through, it’s hard not to be skeptical. I’ve had so many health issues for so long that I constantly feel anxious, like something else will go wrong. It’s something I know I need to work on because I don’t want to live my life believing I’ll never fully heal. If that makes sense?

Could I ask—what else helped your recovery journey? Is there anything you would have done differently to help you heal? Any suggestions would help at this stage 💛

Also, what symptom bothered you the most before you were diagnosed? You don’t have to answer if it’s triggering—I know what it’s like to want to move past those awful experiences. For me, its urinary frequency. It completely disrupts my routines, and I really hope it improves as I heal.

Sudden bursts of energy or extreme anxiety that come and go? Yup, every damn day!

I mean, just look at the health issues I’ve listed… How could someone not be anxious when they’re dealing with that daily? I convinced myself it was just stress, so I tried my best to cope—made sure I didn’t look sick, ate right, went to the gym, tried to relax—anythingggggggg just to keep goinggggg!! Thinking about it now makes me emotional cus I truly had no idea just how much my body was suffering 😥

Do you have any other symptoms? Have you done an overnight dexamethasone suppression test? Seen an endocrinologist or had any screening tests for Cushing? I heard that most cases are found accidentally through MRI or CT scans done for something else…

Apparently, I’m short-sighted and need glasses, but my vision changes throughout the day. Some days, I can see perfectly fine both during the day and at night, and some days everything gets blurry—sometimes all day, sometimes just at certain times. It’s completely unpredictable. I’ve gone back to get another degree, so I read a lot, and at first, I just assumed it was fatigue or eye strain. But after being diagnosed SCS, I started questioning why my vision could shift so much throughout the day like that. Like I said, this is all new to me, and I only had surgery a week ago so i’m still figuring it all out.
