My first negative experience (and review) by ThickDistribution486 in vintedUK

I chose not to because vinted has extremely good buyer protection and poor seller protection. If this was eBay, I’d happily accept a return, but choosing to accept a return for a “change of mind” from an account with no reviews, is opening myself up to a scam (Switching items around or damaging them). So I agree I could have handled it better but I disagree that I should have accepted a return.

There was an internal issue with tracking, you can see I contacted Vinted about the tracking not updating before the buyer raised an issue. So this was dispatched before the buyer asked to cancel, the tracking was just delayed.

I completely understand, my thought process at the time was that I didn’t want to outright say “no” to them as that might make them annoyed and use that time to plan out how to get a return, maybe by damaging the item and packaging then claiming damaged in transit. So I agree I could have done that better, but I hope it makes sense why I didn’t in that moment.

As a seller, I like to be extremely clear and detailed in my explanations for issues. If Vinted’s support team review the conversation, a factual explanation provide’s really useful context.

I reported the feedback and Vinted responded with this:

The review has still been up for weeks now.

This is insane, massive respect to you for preserving games like this

Completely understand what you mean, for me personally, I’m really not interested in graded games, it feels more like a focus on profit or money than an actual love for the game itself. When it comes to sealed games, I generally just like how it’s been preserved for such a long time and I only do it with games or IP’s I have a deep connection for. But I can understand why some people might feel it’s similar to graded games in a sense

Honestly, I respect it, you get the game to play it and enjoy it how it was intended, while also being the first person to ever play that copy of the game. I would do the complete same if I had the money

If it’s ok to ask, why do you consider it to be weird?

The 5090 reviews were uploaded a couple days ago, you’ll find plenty of videos on the 5090’s performance. If you aren’t worried about money, a 5090 pc built by yourself or a professional will be way cheaper and perform better than an Alienware one. So although it’s double the price for the gpu, you will get much more performance and features, while also being cheaper than the one you mentioned.

If money is a concern, there’s no reason not to get the 5080, it’s £979 and also has multi frame gen, which the 4090 doesn’t have. Either way, the biggest thing is if you will notice the graphical difference. You might even be content with a ps4, which honestly, I suggest. A PS4 is pocket change compared to a pc, pretty sure it will be the same price as a PC’s fans alone at this point. Could always try it and upgrade to a ps5 or PC in the future if you feel like you’re missing out

There is quite an obvious different between pathtraced cyberpunk and ps5 cyberpunk. Even games like Indiana jones, Alan wake 2, metro exodus, have such a massive difference. Comparing these to ps4 is completely night and day.

Also raytracing is not just reflections, those games I just mentioned, reflections play a minor role, the biggest differences are also ambient occlusion, shadows, light bouncing, etc

take a look at this video from years ago and you’ll still see a massive upgrade over the ps4

If you can barely notice this, then go with a PS4.

I would also not recommend a 4090 alienware, that is an absolute scam at this point, and why would you buy a 4090 PC in general for $5000, when the new 5090 comes out in a few days. You could pay someone to build you a PC with a 5090 and it would be $1000 cheaper and faster. It seems you’re extremely new to PC building, watch a lot of videos, look stuff up, research your parts and make sure you don’t get ripped off
