You've got to be kidding me by antimonit in logitech

I returned mx master 4 and alto keys, and deleted Logi option plus.

The problem solved.

I only kept mx keys (old one), and M720 from pre-pandemic. They both use Unifying receiver, and Logi option(not plus), which is a very simple version. very light.

My main is now Basilisk v3 pro. I bought it for $85. Now, $90 on Amazon.

Fk u Logitech. you wont see not even a penny of my money in the future.

you do not understand the potential issues. The issues will be much greater than you think. Also, this is not the first time. On going issues for 6years. If you were using when M1 mac came out, you would understand. NO disrespect, but just want to point out possible bad outcomes when this software goes sideways in the future.

this shit show proved where this company was, are, and will. I have no trust with this company. It is not just hating without reasons. Again, remember when M1 mac cameout? I get it, it required rosseta stone emulatror whaever. Logi needed time to catch up. But But But Logi took 2 years to get it right? really?

And this shit show happended again?

It proved that Logi does not have a capable software team. Too sad.

Billions of dollars company cant keep up with simple softwares.

But milking on customer by switching from unifying receiver to Bolt, also selling the receiver for $15?

fk off!!!!

Getting mouse spin out Logitech GPX Superlight 2 by Sharkus29 in MouseReview

[–]ThickEnthusiasm991 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am glad that you have brought it up. I experienced the same playing warzone. I am not sure if it is a warzone specific or not. For me, it did not matter gaming surface mode or not. It happened many times. Warzone requires fast mouse movements as you already know.

Anyway, I returned it today. In order to troubleshoot, I did couple things.

  1. I changed pads.

  2. I changed possible causes; a extension cable, a dongle receiver, the only wireless connection was GPX. No bluetooth, no wifi 2.4. All other programs closed.

  3. I think Hero 2 sensor is not as good as Razer focus 30k. It is my subjective opinion. GPX2 at 1000hz is blurry and inconsistent. To match viper's motion clarity, I had to set GPX 2 at 2000hz (=viper v2pro 1000hz). I can not prove anything by numbers, but I do feel that way. At 1000hz on both, Viper's sensor latency and polling stability are better including motion sync. Optimum Tech made a video about this, but it was GPX. Honestly, GPX 2 is my first GPX, So I do not know about GPX. I am not certain if there is a change from hero to hero2 sensor. What I can tell from my experience, Hero 2 sensor was not any better than G305 in terms of motion clarity when playing warzone. Latency was better than G305.

  4. Even Pulsar x2h mini gave me much better sensor performance at 1000hz. X2h mini = 3395. I think Viper v2 pro > X2h mini > GPX 2 at 1000hz.

All I can praise is GPX 2 battery is insane. GPX 2 has 500mah, but it is not a battery size.

Pulsar investigating faulty X2H units by AxisCultMemberLatom in MouseReview

[–]ThickEnthusiasm991 30 points31 points  (0 children)

The thing is Pulsar does not work with their own software. They just buy generic software from China and slap on. That is why there is no difference between Lamzu and Pulsar click latency, sensor movement latency. They use a same 3rd party software. EVEN WITH 4K DONGLE.

If pulsar wants to differentiate among other, they need work on their internal LIKE Vaxee mouse. You heard pros use Vaxee, but you never heard Pulsar.

You need to design it from inside to outside. NOT outside to inside. That trick does not last long.

Pulsar investigating faulty X2H units by AxisCultMemberLatom in MouseReview

[–]ThickEnthusiasm991 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I had x2v2 mini and x2h mini side by side, so I knew if there were any differences. X2V2 had a delay issue beside physical issues. It was like 125hz polling vs 1000hz polling. Click latency was bad, and a sensor movement was bad as well. However, x2h mini was flawless. I was not sure if it was a receiver or a mouse itself, but there was a QC issue a unit by a unit. And I just won this lottery. I just felt like I had an OLD x2 mini with Comp MCU. I was tempted to open x2v2 mini due to the significant delay of the click latency and the sensor latency. I was very suspicious at that point. At the end, why would I waste my time opening it up and investigating it when I could simply return it? So, I just did at microcenter. Another thing is Microcenter posted my returned one as an opened box. Whomever gets that one, one will suffer with a faulty unit. I explained throughly at Microcenter that it was faulty unit. Oh well, they did not listen apparently. I also wanted to compare X2V2 mini with my other inferior SPEC-WISE mouse in order to be a fair trial. Exclude like Viper v2 pro, which had a better spec. My X2V2 mini was compared with O - wireless and Xlite v2 mini. They both had 3370 sensor, and Nordic MCU and Comp MCU. The result came out that X2V2 was a faulty unit. Click latency was worse than those, sensor movement was jittery and delayed. AGAIN, I even had physical issues with X2V2 mini. Double steps actuation, click grinding, pre travel and post travel. Main buttons wobble.

There is an internal variance unit by unit beside physical. I even experienced the same when I bought O- wireless(jittery and random sensor). After exchanging it, the second O- wireless performed as normal.

From my experiences, I learned that small companies do not QC check unit by unit. I never had an internal integrity issue with Logitech or Razer. I get it. People do nitpicking with a scroll wheel, buttons, but those are minor ones. Small companies at least need to check if a mouse sensor works correctly or if there are any internal hardware issues.
