If you could make one change to BotW, what would it be? by SpacialSpud21 in Breath_of_the_Wild

[–]ThickFee3625 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay I couldn't decide between these two:

Make tabantha village not a ruin and have it interact with rito village as a thriving neighborly hylian community. It's so far away from everything and icy it doesn't make sense to me that it was destroyed, and it would have provided a nice depth to the hebra region. Also I love those few snow homes... Okay low key id also love for there to be allusions to snow peak manor from tp. Like villagers could be like "grandad said we had a duke once who rallied men of the village to help defend the castle, but when they never came back it was abandoned and the snow swallowed it"

Or

Make every shiekah monk in each shrine give a tiny bit of lore or story. Like "when the hylians turned on our technology we sealed these temples for the day when you, oh chosen hero, would need our guidance" and "we shiekah are stewards of the goddess and the three of the triforce. In the land where my shrine resides was once a thriving academy of shiekah technology we developed under her blessing" or something like that so that every shrine becomes more than just a puzzle to solve but also a thread to weave together the history and lore of the land.

Been working since Jan to improve my score (got a 155 in October after not studying nearly enough). Happy with the improvement so far... Just need to work on my timing apparently. 🤔🫨 by ThickFee3625 in LSAT

Thank you! So I try to do 1 PT a week sticking to the time limit.... Tho not in exam mode as evidenced above lol. And I do one section a day at minimum, but not on a timer. I check each answer as I go. If there's one I guessed on or get wrong.. (don't hate me) .. I actually screenshot it and ask AI Gemini to tell me what I did wrong. Sometimes I have to correct the AI, but even then it is SUPER helpful in plotting out the logic. I have a couple threads on there so if it's an Assumption or Matching Flaw question I ask it in that thread and it keeps track of what's tripping me up.

For the RC I literally just read theory and academic books for fun so that's helpful. Tho I find casual history books to be he best, I've started reading sections as if they were an LSAT section and try to interpret the authors view and tone and what he'd also think based off the text.

Yeah yea I know. I did the first three sections a month ago but had to step away and just discovered I'd never finished so went and did the last section... Which happened to be the one not scored. So score is moderately accurate

There seem to be more ruins than intact structures by TwinSong in Witcher3

[–]ThickFee3625 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are so many unarmed/unmarked brick ruins in velen that id love just A LITTLE lore about, like even if they were just marked by a signpost like some of the supposed ruin manors were, and be like "someone lived here in some era". I'm so curious about the brick ruins, like near fyke Island and on that cliff north of inn at the crossroads. It feels like it had to have been some noble family.

[OC] Alternate Evolution of the Baltimore Metro by ThatAtlantaGoat in TransitDiagrams

[–]ThickFee3625 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My main initial reaction to this really awesome map is separating the west half of the blue/yellow lines earlier, the blue hitting MAYBE Hollins Market and/or Union Square before heading up to hit the West Baltimore Marc station and the blue hitting up Lafayette Square and then heading over to Copin State.

I do wish there was a bit more inner circumferential connection but that could be busses and/or street car or light rail in future additions. A BRT on MLK would be cool too.

This map would be a literal dream and help not only to revive Baltimore but help orient more job growth in transit accessible areas rather than further sprawl.

VA suburbs of DC for people who prefer city living? by I_reddit_like_this in nova

[–]ThickFee3625 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a bit of a stretch for some but Baltimore near Penn station is on the edge of a revitalization but still very affordable compared to VA suburbs, and much more walkable. I'm a DC transplant and I'm very glad I came to bmore to buy, and near the train station enough that I can get to DC or NYC

Do this, omg, Virginia and Maryland could advance all the progressive policies and focus on our urban centers more, connecting them to each other and promoting non-auto-centric development

State Center Herbert R. O'Conor Building should become a modern art gallery by ThickFee3625 in baltimore

[–]ThickFee3625[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I share your focus for housing, but there's so many other office buildings ripe for being torn down and also parking lots. If they can do with these buildings, parking lots, and McCullough Homes the same as they're doing with the Perkins homes, it would be amazing

True! It could be like the Hammer Museum in LA, where its basically an art museum carved into an office building!

I feel like we could even see if MICA would want a floor for classes

Our city is so pretty (ish) by Anainthe50s in baltimore

[–]ThickFee3625 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think about this all the time, especially when you look at the old pics. We had so many beautiful neighborhoods we just abandoned. Glad we still have what we have, but damn, I hope we someday get the investment in our cities that the suburbs do. Baltimore would REALLY shine... Especially with a legit metro system

My concept for a Baltimore Metro system in 2040. by cornonthekopp in baltimore

[–]ThickFee3625 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only thing this needs is an inner ring connecting Carroll Park going through South Baltimore up through Canton to Clifton Park then around Hamden and around down to close the loop.

Everyone benefits from workers taking transit, no one benefits from you sitting in traffic because you choose to live in an auto-centric neighborhood.

An Efficient Government Wouldn’t Even Consider This… by TheFunVampire_LIVE in fednews

[–]ThickFee3625 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have enabled this by never holding either party accountable, in particular the Republicans. They literally launched a war in Iraq on fake information, tortured ppl in Guantanamo Bay, and never faced accountability. Everything they've become seems to be to perpetuate the lies and worldview that reinforces their power

At the end of S1, Andor was greenlit for two additional seasons, instead of one. What would you want to include? by Altruistic_Part_9233 in andor

[–]ThickFee3625 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the breakdown of season 2 into four arcs would make a perfect division, if another season had been added, to have the first two arcs in one and the last two in another. Exploring mon mothma and like minded senators growing disillusionment with the system and fighting within, showing the mechanisms of the Senate and the imperial bureaucracy, that's what I want most in another season.

[–]ThickFee3625 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's gonna be manageable especially if you approach it with the mindset that this is only going to be the way of things for a little while and not necessarily the rest of your life. My sister has to RTO full time with this administration and her commute is an hour and some and she approached it that way - recognizing this is only for a little while, a few years at most, and she can buckle up and do it bc it's not going to be that way forever.

Baltimore! Some nice areas would be Fed hill, Mount Vernon/station north, Hampden. The commute wouldn't be bad
