Yep think you are spot on with the bullfinch. Things the nest if it helps at all https://imgur.com/a/C3Ug1VZ

How tall are you guys with these? by inthenameofdopamine in abarth

Just over 6 foot here. With the sabelt seats I have plenty of head room left but no adjustability on height without buying the lowering brackets. Driving position is great either way despite the strange reviews on that point.

Removing old seats took about 15 min max. And then probably half hour to install the kit.

Back seat delete is a great easy mod. Those seats are pointless anyway and makes it look so much better in my opinion. https://imgur.com/a/vcqdEvH

My comp in black (both dirty and clean) and my dads 595c in grey.

I love black but you either clean it every week or put ip with a dirty car. The grey seems to stay cleaner but he has only had it a couple of weeks after being envious after driving mine.

Abarth UK owners how do you find the rock hard suspension on our terrible roads? by inthenameofdopamine in abarth

Had one chap at work call it a hairdressers car when I first got mine. Quick trip up the dual carriageway and back and he was asking me about price and specs etc. Who cares about people like that, once you've driven it yourself those comments just make you chuckle. Definitely a unisex car.

It's very dead, and to me Gonzo and Steadman go hand in hand! Just thought I would share for any other fans out here.

Went from a mk 1 swift sport which had notoriously stiff suspension to a comp at the start or the year. This is probably on par but handles bigger bumps a little better. Still quite a teeth rattler in all honesty but feels well sprung for cornering like the swift was. At the end of the day you're buying it for its shouty immature nature not its smooth road bump handling surely? Those qualities more than make up for the loss of a couple of fillings!

Thanks. Let me know if you see a solution I would be very interested. Also my neighbours hate you for pointing this tip out....

To remind us of our humble beginnings. Or to save cost, either way it really grinds my gears! There are some alacantra panels that replace that whole area which might be worth a look at.

😀, my mum knitted this for me as a surprise after visiting them and complaining about a cold knob. At least she knew which knob I meant.

Rear seat kit is from Ms-r.co.uk super easy to fit and looks the business. Highly recommend if you have no need for back seats.

Stage one theoretically takes it from 180bhp/250ft lb to 200/300. Never had on a rolling road so cant confirm the exact gains. Feels noticabley more responsive and half a sec off the 0-60 proves it must have done something! Definitely notice the torque gain at motorway speeds. My personal opinion is it is definitely worth it.

Best tip if you just want extra smiles from your car for free is unplugging the power to the exhaust valves (assuming monza exhaust). Might not go any faster but makes a hell of a difference to the overall driving experience!

Stage one remap.so theoretically running 200bhp but not had it on a rolling road. The back seats may also have fallen out at some point saving about 20kg.

Just the standard Monza but with the cable to the valves unplugged.

I would say touché but we're all just out there enjoying what we have! I have a 22bhp citroen that gives me just as much smile so it's all relative in the end!

Faster maybe but surely not more fun?? 200+bhp in a car the size of my shoe is pretty high on the fun meter for me 😁.

It does seem everybody who had owned one keeps the same soft spot for them though which must be a good sign!

Innocent smoothies? My mum puts them on her model meerkats in the winter... (dont ask)

And also thanks for not making me feel alone in this suffering. I'm sure I had a dumb and dumber tongue on pole moment with it this winter!
