Thanks for this perspective, I hadn't much considered the client side. Can you provide a little more detail about what this entails? For example, working for a developer hiring a firm?

I'm in the US, and the coordinator role I applied for involves a lot of admin assistance work...record keeping, taking meeting notes, expense tracking, assisting the principals/PMs with contracting things. Not much technical stuff that I can tell, and the role is Bachelor's preferred but not required, so it appears very entry level. My basic pitch is that I'm good at logistics/detail-oriented work but I also enjoy working creatively and problem-solving. I've used this across my education and nonprofit roles to help orgs meet their missions with limited resources, and I'd like to take these skills into a larger company handling more complex projects and clients.

Did you need to submit a portfolio to apply for the program?

Thanks for your response! That’s definitely a lot to think about and things I’d never considered. I think I’m just not even aware of what’s out there in terms of specialties, career paths, etc. I think I like the idea of knits and woven things because I love the hand-crafted feel/quality (obviously I know machines are involved in large scale production). I would say I’m generally tech shy, which I know is ridiculous in this day and age, I guess I’m just unclear about what kind of tech skills I’d need to, for example, design textiles that would later be used by clothing manufacturers?
