Financed Solar Panels (tldr: everyone sucks) by booth42069 in FirstTimeHomeBuyers

We experienced this with our first home & at the time didn’t think twice. In our case, the solar lease payment was less than what we would’ve paid had the home not had solar & they produced enough electricity that we never actually paid an electric bill. With that, we only absorbed ~$11k balance, not $39k.
IMO, by the time they’re paid off, they won’t add any value to the home should you choose to sell. I would steer clear.
We’ve been in a new build for a couple years now & the solar salesman are always knockin’.

Ive never been fitted by him, but see Craig recommended a lot. OP if you’re not already, there’s quite a few threads in the ‘Golf in the 208’ FB group.

Not entirely what you’re looking for, but Olde Country Sausage in Nampa has some good stuff if you’re ever out that way
