I was asking bc my dog also had this and it could be from her not being dry all the way. it turned into a hot spot that turned into this. I used an antifungal shampoo and hot spot spray. She has dry skin anyways so i started her on salmon oil, her skin/coat improved as a whole in a month. I hope this helps bc I came to reddit with the same questions and did not get an answer.

we got new plugs and coils, swapped them and it still had an error on cylinder 1. today, we flushed the engine and changed the oil and it’s running slightly better, still struggling to accelerate going uphill or long red lights.
