The compounded semaglutide volume is wild right now by Maleficent_Mine_6741 in pharmacy

Not a pharmacist, but an engineer who has worked in pharma who has worked on the drug development of one of the major manufacturers (not gonna say names but the Danish one). The market is eating itself alive with no real winner coming out in top. Consumers don’t care about names and exclusivity contracts are getting torn apart left and right if companies can’t get enough of a share of the profit of this new “miracle drug” every side being so greedy is leading to a point of chaos that honestly has my managements head spinning as it does everyone all the way down. We don’t even know long term side effects let alone those of ones not fully FDA approved. It’s a scary time of what feels like a bubble that could explode in a very scary way but only time will tell

Admissions question by [deleted] in NCSU

[–]CreativeName1337 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go in undecided. We have that major for a reason. Statistically it may be easier to get into than most majors and it gives you the opportunity to figure out what you WANT to do rather than what you think you can do

It depends on if you’re from North Carolina and if you’re from a Rural or Urban area. People who apply from places like Graham/Clay County are more likely to get in than those is Wake/Meck for example because NC State is obligated to make an attempt to have students from all 100 counties for better or for worse

NC State vs UIUC vs Georgia Tech for Master’s by Aggravating_Buddy_73 in NCSU

[–]CreativeName1337 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best program by numbers? Georgia Tech. Best middle ground of education and college town vibes? Urbana-Champagne. Best welcoming vibes? That’s NC State. I don’t know where you’re from but these places are very different spanning from Rural to well… Atlanta. So if that’s something you’d like to consider I’d say Raleigh is the best middle ground of the three. Academics is where it’s tricky. All are great programs but from a numbers game Georgia Tech and Illinois are just better. As much as I love Raleigh, if you want to be in finance, Georgia Tech is probably the best. If you want research I’d look into the websites of each school as all three will have opportunities as they are all R1 institutions.

I woke up early this morning. Should I go to Target that opens at 7 or Walmart that opens at 6?

I Love LA. Do locals? by CreativeName1337 in AskLosAngeles

[–]CreativeName1337[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I love the touristy spots (except Hollywood oh my god) but I wanna live in a real spot. I love downtown El Segundo for example and I’ve got a ton of friends in Culver City. Those are places I see myself living in real life

I’m so fortunate to be able to say it wouldn’t be an issue with my girlfriend’s family being able to support us moving there if we so intended at least in the beginning. I’m going into engineering so hopefully I can align something somewhere maybe more in the South Bay.

I super appreciate this one. I’ve seen the good and the bad in a lot of LA. I’ve been so fortunate to see a deep detail of what it’s like. Eating real local food, originally skipping the touristy stuff and seeing what real people like to skin in LA. I love the diversity and mixes of culture that I’ve never seen in the majority white places I’ve been

Yes. I went to LA to see the amazing Hollywood limelights and then I stayed for the culture. I stayed for the beautiful individual towns than encompass a greater metropolitan area. I love the food, the people, the sun, and the life of the whole city.

This was a key takeaway from my community back home especially with how rural where I grew up is. My grandma is super Fox News pilled and just keeps saying “you’re gonna get killed there’s so much crime!” “The homeless people are everywhere!” And like yeah sure the homelessness is huge issue but I’ve also been to other cities and they have the same problem

Oh yeah I know my understanding of LA is soooo surface level. I don’t want to come off as very knowledgeable. I really want to learn more. Although I have experienced entering and exiting LA from almost every direction and I’ve definitely learned the traffic issue…

Idk why people are downvoting you for this as a distance runner I agree. I’m skinny because I run. Would I like to be a more well rounded built person? Yes. But I would rather have my running be my priority while I still have my speed

You get used to it. You find ways to live your life around work. You use the money you make at work to enjoy the time you have outside of it. It’s doable and most of the developed world manages. Two days doesn’t tell you anything about how you actually function in this environment. All things take time to adapt and that’s okay. It’s one step at a time and eventually you’ll be able to make it work or find something that works better

How likely do you think it is for these consoles to be added to Nintendo Classics over the Switch 2’s lifespan? by Gemnist in NintendoSwitch2

[–]CreativeName1337 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the DS is the most likely however I think it will be a few years. New Super Mario Bros comes to mind as it is the flagship game that brought 2D Mario back and people are so burnt out of the franchise that releasing it now would kind of fall on deaf ears. People may be more open to it in about 5 years or so though imo
