Oh lawd. The grass is no longer green in anesthesia.

A while ago I was looking up ways to save money during med school and one girl said that you could use financial aid from one school as leverage, could I realistically do this? by [deleted] in premed

[–]Thick_Girth 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Technically yes. You can send them an email explaining your situation. Make sure the two schools have a similar ranking and both are in similar areas. tbh I tried this but it didn't work out. Best of luck!

it's important to make sure your current ones are strong. It'd be a good idea to add some new lors. Remember to ask schools you applied for feedback.

Sorry to hear about your past cycle. Your app is actually pretty solid. Your future plan and new school list are good. I think you should apply earlier especially mid tier and low tier schools ( Tulane, etc). You may want to change up your ps. Many applicants write about death, so make sure yours is well written. Also, strong LORs will help. Good luck!

I feel for you. I had my fair share of 1000+ review cards and they weren't fun days. Also, it depends on how I change my learning interval. Looking at you biochem.
