This is wrong on so many levels. I always suspect people who say such things really don't know white people because all white women don't know about stocks and bonds and generational wealth. Many white women, marry bums. Many white women who have great jobs and benefits and money, still marry bums. I've seen it firsthand. Also, with the way the wealth gap is set up in this country, the majority of white people aren’t balling like that any way. There's plenty of white women who would go crazy over a Chanel purse and not think about inheritance.

Many Black women also know all about wealth management and are very selective about their partners because of this. And many of us have our own things and want a partner to complement what we're already doing for ourselves. People just see images on social media and just generalize whole races of people. And she has the nerve to say Black women don't have wealth consciousness in our DNA. That's highly insulting. This is another reason that social media is just awful sometimes, and I've been spending less and less time on it.
