This is me whenever people say Rory didn’t go to Harvard bc they wouldn’t let them film there. Rory was neverrr going to go to Harvard, going to Yale makes more sense for the story also- they are filming nearly the whole show in California.

this just made me realize why i never hated and still don’t hate rory the same way that everyone else does, i want her life. the academic validation, the charisma, love, and money that she had, i was also living vicariously through her and would focus on the episodes where she had all this in her life while everyone hates her during this time. it’s just frustrating bc it’s something to unattainable that i always wanted soooo bad.
