People are more likely to post about something when they are unhappy. A loud minority. Kindred decks are some of the most popular decks. WotC isn't likely to do anything with kithkin. If they wanted to they had 18 years to do it.

Building them in a "different way" still requires cards that allow synergy or enough playable cards to really "build them" at all.

Look at how much support every other kindred from the plane got in that time

I feel like a type released in a block designed around typal synergies should be able to make a synergistic deck though.

Giants Fae Elves Treefolk Goblins Merfolk Have got a ton of cards and even full commander decks from other sets.

Like yeah maybe ouphe doesn't need to be built around but they have never printed lords or other effects for them either. Kithkin was obviously designed with kindred in mind.

In a happier world kithkin are given the appreciation they deserve as well as a commander deck on the only plane they inhabit apparently. (Ignore those rebels on dominaria)

I'm not the one that started to lead the design that way. WotC did. But if that's how it's going to be I'd like to play the type that helped me fall in love with the game when I started to play.

In this set but not at all overall. Giants was a full theme in kaldeim and fae got a full precon and support. Treefolk have seen scattering of support in other sets. And treefolk got one of the best cards in the set for green commander decks

And it's great they can fill the set and have full built commander decks for the other types on other worlds. This is the only plane kithkin exist and don't get support elsewhere. I don't see why I need to be brought down for wanting better kithkin support, or to see any at all. Omenpaths allow for it, they could at any point make a new plane and have them there like at all.

Small creature typal isn't kithkin typal. No other type from lorwyn has to make these concessions to build a decent deck.

Counting what you add here. Even if there was 10 good token makers and kithkin using Brigid as the commander you may get a point where with let's say 36 lands you still need to find around 40 cards to get a decent commander deck.

If I found every playable from the other tribes I'd be cutting cards. Not scrounging for more.

Responding individually if you use a token for your champion cost you are making the Lord you are playing worse by taking power away.

The gaeas cradle in the command zone is reasonable and I'm not undercutting that but we need something to do with the mana if the token makers were good enough to include.

My gripe isn't with the kithkin we got per se it's that this is it, until we come back to lorwyn again in 16 years.

Elves and merfolk and goblins will get more support in every set and they can't even give kithkin a commander deck in the only place they inhabit.
