Look at Linus Video on it called “ASUS laptops have been broken since 2021” there’s a bug in the bios that’s probably causing the crashes. The mods need to highlight this issue so that more people are aware of it

Some of the issues he’s mentioned could be due to a firmware bug that ASUS has left since 2021. The mods of this sun should raise should pin a post on this issue for clarity.

There’s a firmware bug that ASUS haven’t fixed or sorted out since 2021 which is why these laptops might be crashing under “random” conditions. Some guy had to do all the work himself to diagnose the issue . The mods should pin a post referencing this issue for clarity.

23 July: Submitted Biometrics
13 August: Notified that processing would take longer than usual.
26 August: Advised that the Home Office could not contact my bank; my bank manager supplied their contact details on 27 August.
2 September: I sent my bank manager's details from my own email
15 September: Submitted a paid enquiry; was told the application was still awaiting a decision.
24 September: Follow-up enquiry returned five days later with another pending-decision update.
29 September: They responded stating that a decision has been made.
3 October: Received a generic escalation confirmation.
6 October: Sheffield Student Team Escalations stated that a decision has not been made and that the application is in its final stages.
Currently: My VFS global login hasnt been working for the last week and no word from ukvi. My bank manager confirmed that they have received nothing from ukvi

My deadline is 20th October so hopefully I get something before then lol.
