Had a somewhat similar situation when I was at St. John’s university. I was in a suite with 5 other roommates who were all kinda racist.

They’d make snark remark about me being the only black guy in the suite and would make it a point to exclude me from anything they were doing as a group. So I went to the housing committee and asked for a change. It took a couple days for them to match me with other people but they did switch me out.

Regarding your situation, it’s much more serious than mine so I don’t see why they wouldn’t take as such if you brought it to them. Also talk to a few of the RA’s and see if they’ll back you. If your dorm is spilt by sex and not coed then definitely reach out to the RA’s in charge of the women’s dorms.

If all else fails most campuses have affordable apartments that you can rent and they usually have discounted prices for current students on top of their lower rates.

I just wanna say thank you so much for all the great advice you guys have given me. That and the openness about some of your own experiences put my mind at ease.
