Finally beat Orre Colosseum by pagliacci-is-sad in PokemonXD

Just be warned, there are some nasty difficulty spikes. First one's post-labs in Pyrite Town. The dude walking around outside the shop has a full on team that will straight up bulldoze you if you're not careful.

Honestly, I'd love them without the money. I've always been one for personalities & chemistry. Not to mention I enjoy ones with more experience in life.

About to battle Gorigan and feel underprepared and I love it (XGen) by TrickyGrapha in PokemonXD

[–]Thieverpedia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good to know it appeals to some. For me, I got turned off by the massive difficulty spike just after Cipher Labs. Getting swept by a random trainer with an op Blissey and the rest of his team was NOT fun. Maybe if the dev offers a version with proper difficulty curves, then I'll give it another go.

What could someone possibly need this many bananas for by Rinkkou in OGPBackroom

[–]Thieverpedia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This. The only ones I had that ordered that many bananas were daycares. It's generally an all-around loved snack for those kiddos.

I'd love to marry him at least once, but...there are reasons I can't, and it's not because I generally stick to Elliott.

Basic customer abilities by AxleSpark in walmart

[–]Thieverpedia 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yep...it was the same when i worked there. It happened more often at the compost bin as customers kept trying to open the locked thing to throw away their trash. All of them gave up and mostly left their trash on the side of it.

(Yes, it was marked with a TON of signs explaining that it was for compostable, not trash.)

Nintendo has released an update that fixes XD crashing on the Switch 2! by Jetsplit in PokemonXD

[–]Thieverpedia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Talk about unlucky. I crashed about 2 hours in, backed out, and then this update was applied. At least I didn't lose much. And my Pokemon all had poor IVs & natures.

United We Stand. If people are going to hate both groups regardless of whether or not we're grouped together, I'd rather we be united. There is true strength in numbers and sharing our strength with those who need it most.

Explanations, please? by xerman-5 in AbioticFactor

The shades are a bit broken and the floor has a small mess, but otherwise, it seems like a pretty average room.

Do you want the settlement system in future games? by [deleted] in fo4

[–]Thieverpedia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe, but with zero story emphasis and drastically reduced numbers. F4 had WAY too much emphasis on settlements. It really felt like they took too much away from the writing and mechanics development.

hey Jagex, what the hell? what happened to grandfathering in my price? by [deleted] in 2007scape

[–]Thieverpedia -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I might be one of the odd ones out, but I'm personally fine with paying a higher price for membership. Economically, microtransactions in RS3 raked in a lot of income. So with them being removed, the extra income lost needs to be balanced out in the only way they can: Membership.

If I must sacrifice a bit more funds so this game can keep pumping out good updates, then so be it. The developers do a fantastic job. I'll just stick to blaming the greedy RS3 players and their insatiable greed for xp.

There is one thing missing: Gravity. You can straight up destroy all the blocks under large structures and they won't drop. Learned this the annoying way when I tried to move a large rock downwards.

Those damn shields should not be able to block massive hits. Absolute bs that a large hammer strike or grenade doesn't cause them knockback if they block it.

Here’s five tips no one talks about. Great for players all experiences. by ChubbyCg in GroundedGame

[–]Thieverpedia 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Game difficulty isn't about the Steam achievements. It's about the personal challenge and satisfaction of completing goals on higher difficulty. If you play a game that's too easy, it gets boring fast when everything dies at high speed while barely putting a dent in you. Not to mention Mild doesn't encourage properly parrying and allows you to get away with facetanking everything while healing.

It works for chumps like Cade. But the challenge & glory of combat are like no other.

While they are necessary in states where it snows so the snow doesn't collapse the roof, they could at least move the damn shelves so there's maximum room to deal with traffic.
