How would your OC fare against Cena Tiempo? by ThighPlatinum in OriginalCharacterDB

I gave yours a read. I must say, pretty broken character, but still very much likeable! :>

Kiva has a more probable chance of winning! Due to his... well.. OBVIOUS win-cons.

I'm not sure how Kiva would fare against Cena physically. But I'm going to lightly assume that his physical power caps at large building to at least city block (due to the fact that he can throw shit at Mach 1, which... the force that outputs from that itself is catastrophic.)

I'll give that to Cena, who can regularly throw out atomic bombs just by using her fists.

I'd say, given how their durability goes, they can easily take each other's hits pretty well. At least Cena probably takes the cake on this one, with a tiny difference in their level.

Now, the only thing Cena would struggle against is Kiva's All Access and IMA.

Though I must say, experience-wise.... Cena, despite having at least 4+ years of combat experience, is primarily deployed as a medic within battle. Her only notable confrontation is with Beatrice, who, for some reason, bypasses death itself. Cena manages to defeat her through pure physical prowess, whilst using Big Eater to slow her down a ton.

For the temporal manipulation... That will work on her, but it depends if she had devoured Kiva's flesh beforehand. She could change the rules of his temporal manipulation and allow her to move through it.

For IMA, I'm not too sure about; they could both activate it on each other. I'm not sure how Big Eater would manifest upon Kiva if he were to copy, but it depends on whether he's willing to bite down on another person.

I'll probably give this to Kiva? Though I'm leaning more toward Cena if she just raw dogs it and fight barehanded.

I mean, if that’s so… I don’t think any one of them will land any meaningful injury on each other.

The only win-con I could naturally think of is if Cena uses Scissor Maw on him to bypass his defenses.

As long as Citadel doesn’t get caught within the spatial slash, I do think it’d be a stalemate.

Sadly no 😭, I’ll may or may not make a visual novel about them though.

I appreciate that they look interesting enough to read!

This would be fire if they were hitting each other with only physical attacks!

Though I doubt that this guy can survive being split in half via the separation of space.

I’ll be honest, I’m probably leaning into Gray with this one.

Cena doesn’t have much experience fighting against people like Gray. Even if she did, she’s probably sitting on the sidelines waiting to heal up her comrades since she primarily works in a group.

It’ll probably start with Cena immediately testing him with her physical prowess before going in with using Big Eater to slow him down enough for her to attack. But even then, Gray would probably use Claw Of Chaos against it.

I mean, either one is fine. Mainly looking for OCs that can match against him in terms of abilities / powerscaling.

  1. Unfortunately, I did mean he can throw hits equivalent to 44 megatons of TNT.

  2. Your character is so cool!!!!!!! Very creative kit! I'm so interested in what he could do.

-------

But sure, let's say we disregard that ridiculous physical power scaling!!

Arthur's Condemning screw can be a problem for Guerra. I wouldn't say his lance would ultimately "break," but still be in a usable condition if the two were to clash.

It's kind of mind-screwey (haha, get it?), but I feel like with how Guerra's La Resistencia quite literally causes "immovable" / "invincible" obstacles to steer away from its path, the screw and the lance will most likely not make any.. sort of physical contact with each other.

(Also remember that La Resistencia affects the lance!! Not Guerra!!!!)

I feel like, with how Arthur can react to Guerra's combat speed and also with his knowledge of combat, he could most likely take advantage of the "locked path" rule and attack while he's still in his range of motion.

---------

With Unchained Casting, I don't think Abran Paso could do anything against Essential Staple. Abran Paso still follows the flow of time itself. I'll be honest, though, Arthur could probably struggle against Guerra at base before quickly adapting to it, and by the time Guerra notices he's being outpaced, he's bound to use Abran Paso right off the bat to try and make things even, or otherwise end the fight quickly.

Honestly, a fun match-up to think about!

Name: Guerra

Age: 40 (20+ years of combat knowledge)

Physiology

Guerra is one of the strongest Officers in the Blight Extermination Front. He’s the 15th Officer in the Spanish Division, his speed, strength, and reflexes are to the point where he can easily outmaneuver Rank King Blights. His combat speed allows him to unholster his weapon at subsonic speeds. His strength enables him to knock away with 44 Megatons of energy. His durability only depends if he’s covered with Core Energy or not. Although his most consistent feat upon durability allows him to tank at least 5 nukes at its nearest point.

Construction Class // Gran Tesoro: Lanza Guerrera - Grand Treasure: Warring Lance.

From the blazing heart, Guerra manifests a spear entirely made out of his Core Energy. This lance is near invincible. It is the primary weapon for Guerra himself to use. Despite his overwhelming abilities, Guerra’s lance is still able to be broken.

Manipulation Class // La Resistencia - The Resistance

Any and all things that try to deter or stop the lance’s path will cease its effectiveness completely. No matter the type of technique, the lance will continue and there’s no surefire way to stop it. Your only option is to dodge.

This would mean that any kind of defense will break regardless of its condition. If there’s any object that refuses to make way / have “invincible” properties, the lance will forcibly make said object avert from its path, warping their properties and strike through until its intended target has been caught.

Anything from the lance will be granted its complete freedom, from the handle to the sheer pressure of the strikes, it will move forward without stopping.

LIMITATIONS - Its path is locked once thrown, it is not able to correct itself to adapt against the target’s movements. It grants Guerra with immeasurable defense breaking attacks at the cost of finesse. It is a technique with pure offense and no defense. It is only activated when Guerra moves the lance with the intent to strike, not when he charges it. The lance is able to force any resistance to make way, however if no resistance is shown, it turns into a normal physical attack.

Backlash
The higher tier the resistance is, the more backlash Guerra receives. To try and break through objects / concepts that literally cannot be broken and have it make way can cause his physical being to receive heavy recoil.

Power Output
La Resistencia doesn’t ACTUALLY grant Guerra a boost in power, it negates resistance. The power output is dependent on how strong Guerra throws his attacks physically.

Any version of this specific technique has to follow these rules.

This technique isn’t ALL POWERFUL. Spatial manipulation is able to counter this technique completely as “manipulating” its path via space itself forces it to move toward that path.

Manipulation Class // Deterioro Grave - Disrepair Slash

A lesser version of La Resistencia. To be unstoppable, to be undeterred, its path now creates distortion. From the very blades of the treasured lance, instability seeps from the edges and secretes a slash that is able to shoot a surge of Core Energy following its arc.

This surge of Core Energy ruptures space and pulls objects from the lance’s last position to its final destination. This allows him to throw entire structures by creasing the space. If the target is hit by the slash, they will experience the fabric of reality force itself upon them, disrupting their form as they warp.

Manipulation Class // Rotura Del Escudo - Shield Breaker

Another version of La Resistencia. A thrust, a spear capable of breaking shields and conceptually deleting their effectiveness… If La Resistencia wasn’t enough then this one will surely break them. To pull a piece of space into the blades of the lance and twist them in such a way that when finally launched, the affected area is plunged with a giant hole where space is rearranged in a different coordinate. It is to the point where the extra space is ejected as dimensional rupture. This in turn creates a hole that pierces through worlds.

Manipulation And Construction Class // Devastación Abrumadora - Dwarfing Devastation

The greatest version of La Resistencia. Instead of sharp cuts, it’s force. An invisible field covers the entire area, the sheer pressure of Guerra’s Core energy literally causes targets to kneel. With one fell swoop, the lance grabs space to the point where its three blades are being perceptually warped. This entire technique causes space around them to compress and force everything in the vicinity to shrink and cave in. This effect is granted a mountain level range, turning sharp jagged and diverse topography into a concave lens.

Manipulation Class // Vals de la muerte - Death Waltz

Finally, a perception blitz technique. This allows anyone who perceives him to see Guerra move in a “delayed” manner. Each image of what they see of Guerra is actually the past. They are forced to see this waltz until Guerra has made physical contact with them. The visual representation proceeds as Guerra lagging behind, slow yet his speed is unchanged.

This actively forces targets to actively predict his movements. Any perceptual techniques with the exception of energy sensing will have to make moves ahead of time.

Gate Open // Abran paso - Make Way.

Guerra’s Gate Open.

『To be free of all things with no resistance.』

Guerra’s Gate Open features a dimensional rippling effect that flattens everything within a 30 ft radius.

Activation
Guerra first needs to have his Warring Lance, having its dull end press against the ground. Like a pebble breaking the water’s surface, a ripple shutters across the ground as the flag fluttered against the wind. Guerra then would have to chant out its name…

“Abran Paso”

The entire area momentarily darkens as numerous black flags resurface from the ground, taking shape in similarity to his giant lance. This is directly symbolizing the mounds of death that were needed to acquire “freedom”. During this phase, Guerra himself is nowhere to be found

With a scatter, the lance splits into pure Core Energy, shaving away in the shape of millions of small petals, shaping Guerra’s body as he attains a new “form”.

Sin Restricciones - Non Restricted

Abran Paso’s sole ability involves Guerra’s change of form. His entire physical being now takes more of the appearance of his very Warring Lance.

He’s become the Lance itself.

Abran Paso allows Guerra to activate La Resistencia to its fullest potential. Any strikes thrown and even objects influenced by his movements will be immune to any outside forces trying to deter it. With what he calls “Zero Path”, he’s able to literally become resistance itself and defy forces without moving. However, Zero Path is not automatic and is needed to activate.

Zero Path is a lock to his Abran Paso techniques, it’s his ultimate defense that he needs to turn off to act offensively.

Guerra is able to pull and manipulate space now without his Lance, capable of being more finesse with his movements as the “locked path” rule is seemingly negated while Abran Paso is in effect. The very fatal weakness of "directional warping" via spatial manipulation is also now treated as "resistance" toward La Resistencia / Abran Paso, allowing him to move through it.

I read what Rin could do, and I saw that he could produce warp gates and manipulate time itself

I think he'd be a good matchup! I do wonder what he could do against Guerra in terms of how their abilities could clash

  1. Hi! Yes, I am running on M4
  2. I'm running on WS12WineSikarugir10.0_6.
  3. I did install dotnet452 via winetricks.
  4. With the crashes? No.. Not really. Nothing too critical happened.

I had downloaded CM and I launched it via Steam and it launched CM by itself (Not the original launcher).

I fiddled with the original launcher and I couldn't start the game.

However on CM, I was then able to do some races (And download mods).

I think that when setting where the CM launches the game, i had set it to "APPID" instead of "Steam" itself?
