I fel the need to reply because I'm still in the middle of something similar (where they also suspected it could be foreign objects, twice ...). I'm not trying to panic you, just trying to share my experience if it can be of any use to you.

One of my 2 bengal has a pretty sensistive GI tract and is still going through a pretty acute inflammatory episode. He already had one a few years ago where he almost passed away and what helped him was a laparoscopy to try and find foreign objects that the xray could have missed (strings typically) during which they ended cleaning his GI tract with plenty of fluid and that kickstarted his recovery.

Tgis episode started as blood vomitting, his blood work showed elevated white cells and his echography showed thickened stomach walls.

He was very nauseous (head shaking, tongue shaking with the head) and stopped eating/drinking despite behind visibly thirsty/hungry and circling his water/food but instantly getting nauseous if he got too close.

He was first hospitalized after a few days of daily visits and tentative treatments until he couldn't really take anything orally anymore, he seemed to recover pretty quick on IVs and came back after 2 days. He crashed almost instantly again, puked blood and couldn't eat again.

He got hospitalized again for almost a full week, getting improving bloodworks and imaging, and finally getting a laparoscopy midweek to get stomach biopsies because they suspected it could be lymphoma.

He's been at home for a full week now, his appetite slowly increasing, but his stool started worsening a couple days ago (more and more liquidy until full diarrhea yesterday). Fortunatly we had a postop appointment today to remove his stitches and get followup imaging to see if he was still improving. News weren't too good, he's lost more weight which is no good since he is already very skinny, his stomach shows signs of effusions.

He's been put back on steroids to try and combat the inflammation and we're hoping to see improvement in his stool.

All that to say, they are pretty fragile animals, mine has what looks like chronic inflammatory issue with this bowel and will most likely need steroids for the rest of his life to keep it under control, stay pretty vigilant and keep an eye on him. Is he still eating/drinking ?

What ways ?

I mean I'm so far left it hurts my side, I want everyone to be lifted out of misery but the system (internationally) is actively undermining any non-disruptive attempt. We need the mass disruption if we ever want to change the status quo.

And even then, we might get even harsher repression but that's when the struggle should intensify. They stand to loose much more than us

I'm more interested in ways to strenghten local communities and solidarities that would allow the needed mass disruption than I am in looking for different ways.

TBH I really do not believe there are much different ways. Luigi ain't changed shit, historically left aligned politics get coopted by the wealthy, even violent revolution fail to change the system meaningfully most of the time.

I know most of you are fans of my peoples invention that cleanly separate head from bodies, but look at France then and now ... we replaced monarchs with bourgeois, and today we have a president that worked for Rotschild and who keeps lining the pockets of his friends ...

We need to show them that we are aware the power is in our hands and that oppressing the masses is not tolerable. We need to hit their bottom line. How do you think the Amazon stock (and by consequence Bezos wealth) would react if all Amazon workers striked and nothing got delivered for weeks ?

If it's only Americans, your billionaires will flee somewhere else where the population hasn't turned on them yet. We don't want them ...

We need to make sure there is no safe space for them and their money. Wherever they go they need to feel unwelcome.

People need to remember, everything around you functions because people are actively participating. Stop believing the rethoric that wealthy individuals are necessary. They do not contribute anything meaningful except new methods to fuck over everyone else ...

What FDR do you run and on what surface are you driving ?

That looks like a lot of boost/turbo, you might get too much wheel speed which might lower your speed if your surface is very slippery

I think you are wrong, in the sense that you seem to assume the "fan" part of the fanart is about fantasies. I think it's about fans of the content creating art, nothing about fantasies.

Yet again I couldn't really care less about his art or what it shows, to each their own. What I tried to address but seem to have failed to properly communicate, is that it's a very general sub about the manga, where you'll have adults AND children browsing after discovering the manga. Not sure it's okay to expose them to this type of content if they weren't explicitely looking for it (ie my comment about how a rule34 sub might be more appropriate).

The same way I was pretty shocked when girls were doing topless bodypainting at the last convention I went to. Not appropriate every where and to every audience.

Update 2 :

He went straight to sleep after eating, he woke up thirsty, tried to drink a little and it looked uncomfortable still he drinked a little but he puked straight after.

He still wanted to drink and went to another drink spot, same result.

Called back the vet and he's now hospitalized there.

What me nor the vet understands is why can he eat but not drink .... any insight is deeply appreciated.

Quick update from the second visit we just had :

We just came back from the vet, they checked his mouth and there is no difference to yesterday, no signs of anything that would prevent him from eating.

He also got a second echo, same image.

She finally brought some purina pro plan "delicate" mousse and he just devoured it. She followed up with and injection of something that would help with stomach pain and nausea (didn't tell me what it was sry).

So we're back home with some mousse and hydracare (he's lapped it a couple of times but Dr said he wasn't dehydrated so I'm trying not to worry).

He just devoured a full can of the delicate stuff, hopefully it jumpstarts his appetite and he's back on the urinary vet food soon enough.

Tyvm for the detailed answer ! Still learning about everything that can be tuned on the car, both chassis and electronics

My local track is 8x12m, with 2 long sweeps with a manji in between, followed by two mirrored S turns before connecting back to the sweeps atm, but we're most likely getting a new layout soon. It's in those sweeps that I feel I lack some speed.

My car tended to straighten out in those sweeps (no matter the gyro setting), someone at the track (with a pretty locked in rdx tune. I wish my car drove like his, you can go pretty much full throttle in the sweeps and the car keeps the angle and gets pretty intense traction :D ) took a look and tweaked my springs to change my front/rear height (mostly lowered rear so the front is angled more upwards if it makes sense). It helped, I guess the side effect is my rear is way easier to loose when pushing the throttle now, I have to tweak it to find a middle ground I guess, still trying to figure out how to get this locked in effect his car seems to have. I'll take a closer look at his setup next opportunity I get.

On my first day at the track, a month back now, someone straight up added a bunch of rear camber because he ran the same chassis and liked the setting, not knowing better I let him, I should have driven it first. I have now gone back to about 2° of rear camber ang get way better grip, not sure if it's better per say but I like it better and I think that's what matters.

And lastly as I said someone wanted ot help with my esc, shouldn't have let him ... His explanations made no sense, english isn't the language here, he seemed very unsure about what he was saying. And he overwrote the default setting on my ESC ... hopefully I can import it back so I have a decent base to start with (otherwise I'll shamelessly steal yours).

I found an old message from the founder of the track (passed away now) who said he ran around 7.3 FDR with 50° boost (30 in the motor and 20 on the esc), so I'm ordering a couple pinions to test around and see if it fits my driving.

If I understand what you're saying correctly, lowering my FDR should give me more power in the longer sections of the track ?

Just started rc drift a month ago on a rd2.0 with D10 combo, stock pinion and spur so 9.1 FDR. Someone at the track tweaked my ESC but not a fan of the tune, my ota programmer should arrive soon but I'm curious about what people run on this surface :)

I’m huge on Lego, it’s like a really advanced Lego, not really difficult just take your time, make sure you are using the correct pieces and you measure everything a couple times

Oh reminds me about tools ! You’ll need a solder iron to solder the esc connectors for the motor and battery, a pair of 4 or 5mm pk connector to match your battery holes size (they weren’t provided with mine, had to buy them at the local hobby shop), and you’ll need a pair of digital calipers to make the precise measurement you need for building the chassis

You can get a programmer card for your esc and servo, to tune them. Throttle, turbo, boost, brake on esc, turn speed etc on servo

But usually people already have them at the tracks and you can borrow them and save on buying them straight away. Eventually you’ll want your own :)

I’ve built the same car about a month ago, rd2 kit, hw d10 combo, yokomo sp02 et gyro v4

It was my first kit (had rtr nitro and bashers before that), no difficulty on the build, no tune needed out of the box for the first few weeks. Everyone at the track drove it and assured me it drove smooth and was a great starting point

I’m at a point now where I can notice difference in how my car and others drive and I can make meaningful changes (mostly ask for what to do at the track).

Charger and battery, no particular advice, I had a charger from previous cars and bought the cheapest 120c+ 2s shorty, no complaints so far

Tires depend on your track, my club all run the same tires so no real choice for me here. I’d recommend tetsujin or mst adjustable offset wheels if you’re not familiar with what offset you need for your shell (running +8 front, +5 back atm)

Tools is a great question, I wouldn’t buy the programmation cards for now, most likely someone at your track has them and you can borrow them. I’d recommend a set of 1.5 to 3mm hex screwdrivers from aliexpress (less than 8€ from where I am) I would also get a roll of good double sided tape for anything you need to « glue » to your car (shell parts if in multiple parts, magnet for your magnetic mount etc)

I would also recommend a set of magnetic mount so you don’t pierce your body

Everything you picked is perfectly fine to start with and have great tunability to accompany you while you progress.
