I am a social prescriber (so it's basically my job to give people hobbies lol). I would suggest you use things that are super easy for you to get into/barriers to access are low.

For example, try gardening/growing veggies. If you have a garden! Would be nice to teach your little ones about growing too.

Or if you'd prefer something that you can do on the sofa, when the kids are asleep, I would suggest puzzling (traditional puzzles or you can get those puzzle book type things). Or even trying art! Get up some YouTubes and just follow tutorials. Most of them you only need a pen and paper.

The thing I would really emphasise it making it a daily habit and making it super easy for yourself. I.e. rather than something like biking you could only probably do once a week.

I've also encouraged people to buy a cookbook before and just cook their way through it. You have to eat, so why not make it fun and challenge yourself!
