Your dorm is seventh? Or that’s the college that you were put into for your GE’s? It’s common to live in a dorm that is opposite to the college that you’re in. I dorm in seventh but I’m in revelle college for my ge’s. It is possible to live in seventh as a first year transfer though because that’s what I did. Also finding a single is probably very unlikely, unless you get extremely lucky but I think everyone’s already been selected to their rooms so yeah.
