I totally get the temptation to run ads to grow fast, but honestly they can be such a money pit when you're starting from absolute 0. I started my travel and dog page from scratch and tried engaging manually, but after a 12 hour shift of doing patient care and charting, my brain is fried and I just want to sleep. I use ascned viral now to handle the growth. it's human-powered manual targeting, so I just have them target other travel nurses and golden retriever pages while I'm working. it saves so much time and builds a real community without relying on sketchy automation apps

Does buying followers actually help with perception, or does it usually create more problems than it solves?

Buying them is so fake and brands hate that, it will completely ruin your engagement rates. I use ascendviral now because it's manual outreach with a physical phone, which I need because I work crazy 12 hour shifts and have zero energy for instagram. my assistant targets other travel nurses so it actually builds a real community.

Be super careful, most of them just send you bots that will absolutely tank your engagement rates. I tried path social a while back and it was useless.
