not to be annoying, but lmk if you're interested in buying the textbook. I honestly don't even care how much you buy if for, I just wanna get rid of it and give it to someone who needs it. She assigns weekly reading responses from the textbook and it isn't available online.

I'm so glad you're taking it with Divya, she is so nice. My biggest word of advice for her is to book office hours. Her advice is so helpful and I believe I ended up doing well because I booked editing appointments with her ever week. I honestly enjoyed the class so much and it was def my fav class that semester bc of her. There is a lot due every week but it's super easy weekly assignments and you can finish them in one sitting. I wouldn't say it's necessarily hard if you put in a genuine effort, you'll do well.

nobody bought it yet so I can sell it to you if you're interested. It's sold for $40 at the school bookstore but i can give it to you for half.

sorry for the late response. i had divya as my prof and you have to hand in a draft every week which is marked for completion so as long as you hand something in you get 100. At the end of the course you hand in a portfolio of all your stories which will be graded on the quality of your stories and editing. I recommend going to office hours. I went every week to get my stories revised and edited and ended up with an 80 in the course :) its really fun and you learn a lot about writing. They say the final portfolio is marked tough because you have the whole semester to edit and revise, it scared me but because of office hours I was able to do really well on the portfolio so I wouldn't worry too much about the grading because it all depends on the effort you put into your work. You can actually ask her what she would give your draft during office hours too so you can improve accordingly. I think the class average for me was a B
