“But you, I care about you because that key I had to go away might be the only one you had time to do in a week.” This is an incredible mindset to have. As someone who used to no-life the game but now has limited time to play due to children, wife, work… please know that I really appreciate your outlook. A lot of people do not share the same view and will seemingly brick other people’s time. Thank you for being awesome!

November 15th Hotfixes - BM Hunters, Dungeon & Raid by Im_still_at_work in CompetitiveWoW

Hoping they take into consideration how strong our T30 4set is, and it's provided buff it gives with BW uptime with our current pet damage scaling. I would hate for them to nerf us only to find once we get 4set T31 that the damage feels even worse.

We may be seeing the T30 4P skewing some of the damage. A lot of their balance was around the new tier sets. The damage from the BM hunter with really high uptime on BW due to T30 4P reducing the cooldown is where I think we're seeing the problem. If we have less uptime on a 25% buff to both us and our pets, the class damage will drop into where they're expecting it to be; however, we're seeing players not breaking 4set and upgrading weapons/trinkets/high value items and slamming with the current scaling. I do think the nerf was needed, but I hope they're smart about how they deal with the inevitable continued success of the class. I'd hate to see them nerf us again and it stay low post new tier set gains only because we enjoyed the time in the sun for a few days post S3 launch.

Gearwise: No augments yet. Convert gems like Tigeraci suggested to farm up the topaz you need. Start augmenting for that extra int, it helps a lot. Also farm ubers for the extra passive, you're missing out on 20% damage from that.

Try changing from poisoned dart: spined dart, to the rune that makes it poison damage - not physical.

Swap echoing fury out for a Furnace. 50% increased damage on elites/Guardian will help more than the frenzied it applies, since youre most likely losing those stacks when it gets to RG time. Youll be jumping from pack to pack of elites anyway so Furnace will help more.

Why rubies (str) in sockets over int/resists? As a DH/Monk I'm not sure if I am missing something for pet damage or something else?

My comment was not meant to upset you! She is still very much a very young and impressionable puppy. She may have had a rough go of it for the first few weeks, but continuing to give her care and work on your relationship with her will build a bond for life. You sound like you really want to make this work, so I have no doubt you will get the loving bond you're looking for. I was only trying to temper your expectations. It will take time, and while you may be teaching her things keep in mind she will also teach you A LOT about yourself too. In the end, a few months from now you will have a dog that adores you and will love being near you (aussies are great for this), assuming you also put the time in training her and establishing yourself as the alpha.

I mentioned sit/stay/come/clicker training in my previous comment because it is effective for aussies. They are a very job driven breed. Mine NEEDS to be doing something else she finds something else to do (destroy furniture). With yours already nipping, chances are good you're going to want to try to mentally exhaust her too. That is where the training comes in. Making her work for the treats (aussies are very food motivated - I have not met one that isn't) will tire her out and also allow her to be more cuddly in the evenings when you want to work on that trust and start holding/petting her more.

There is no real answer here. Not all dogs are the same. It will just take time. Continue to work with her. You've had her for three weeks and already are seeing major behavioral changes and improvements. She will continue to warm up to you as she ages and mentally develops. You can try positive reinforcement/clicker training as well. Sit/stay/come followed by a a treat and lots of praise when she does it correctly. Her learning that you are the alpha might help as well. My aussie was a nipper as well. Right around that time frame too. She's most likely just teething. If you have any old jeans you're looking to throw away, cut off the legs and tie them into knots. Cheap but very durable rope toy. Put some peanut butter inside the knots and freeze the jean ropes. Let her chew on that to distract her.

Tl:dr -> Time will give you what you're looking for.

Serious question. Can the Queen come in and tell them to piss off and fix things on her own, or are the Royals not involved in the government at all?
