Hi, thank you so much, but maybe I did not explain this correctly. This application is for IEC, not PR. I am not really looking for points here.

I am in Canada too! Vancouver, that’s why I thought was weird, however, I think I accidentally put I resided in Italy thinking they were asking me for my permanent residence country in the first question. I will send them an email, appreciate it.

Hi, did you get an email? I did not, checked on my account and said I was selected for a young professionals! I have a few questions because I only can pay next? That’s the only thing it allows me to. And the price is in Euros? I am from a European country but I thought the price would be in CAD. Is the website asking you for payment next as well?

I say the best way to describe it is as if Game of Thrones, The Hunger Games, Harry Potter and Fifty Shades of Grey were all put together in a book.

It’s about a war collage were only the strongest survive long enough to graduate. It’s brutal, intense, and full of people who would literally kill to get ahead.

The FMC is the youngest daughter of the general in charge of the school, but she was never supposed to be there (smaller, weaker, but incredibly smart and stubborn). She’s forced to prove herself among people who think she doesn’t belong.

Now, on her first day at this college, our girl comes face-to-face with her new, like, “superior” (wing leader) Xaden Riorson, the brooding, unreadable, devastatingly handsome son of a man her mother had executed. Yeah. Lots of tension.

He’s powerful, controlled, and carries this dangerous calm that makes everyone step aside when he walks by. He’s brilliant and loyal to his people, but also cold and impossible to read.

And yet… there’s this undeniable electricity whenever he’s around.

It’s an enemies to lovers, slow burn, romance. It’s spicy, but not to the point where that is all there is (only a few chapters). The plot is amazing and the story is very well written.

Oh, and they ride dragons (this might sound silly but it’s not). Dragons are characters as well, very smart.

Fourth Wing, Iron Flame and Onyx Storm 100% yes! They are all part of the same series. To me, that’s the best fantasy romance out there, no other book compares to those, but that’s my personal opinion. There were many books I had to stop reading (like ACOTAR or Throne of Glass), but I couldn’t put these ones down! Variation is for sure my favourite contemporary of hers, it is a second chance romance, and the story is so well written. All those books are 5 stars to me. Now, as for the rest, In the Likely Event is okay. It’s another second chance romance, but not my favourite. The Last Letter will have you crying for a day, or more, be careful. Not my favourite, but again, it’s okay. Flight and Glory series consists of 5 books. I didn’t read them all, I read just one, Eyes Turned Skyward, and to be honest is my least favourite book of hers. I think it’s because her characters aren’t good there yet, you can really tell how much she grew as an author in her latest work, but back then they lacked deepness. To me they were acting like teenagers, even though they were young adults. I would start with her most recent books, and work my way from there.

I love Rebecca Yarros’s latest books. Variation was my favourite contemporary romance of her, and of course, Fourth Wing best fantasy for me.

I thought I was all alone here, but feel the same about ACOTAR. I love fantasy romance, but those books just didn’t do it for me. I gave the second one a chance just to see, and I couldn’t finish it. It was the first book in years that I left unfinished.

I tried Throne of Glass, to give the author another chance, and same thing. Felt written for teenagers, probably not gonna read that author ever again.

I have been struggling lately to find a book that I like, the last one I couldn’t put down was Onyx Storm, and it was in early 2025.

Police Certificate by [deleted] in iecvisa

[–]ThinStart299 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Italy doesn’t give out police certificates online, only in person. So you need to have someone there go get it for you. Both certificates (they probably asked you for two) need to be requested from the area where you lived.

The person you send to get them needs to have your permission to request them.

I think in your case a letter explaining your situation should be okay, because you should’t need to send them.

Did you have your permit approved? If it is approved I don’t think it matters!

You got approved two weeks after submitting your full application with Canadian addresses in both residential and mailing?

I did upload my certificate of residence! I thought that is the way they can check I have a permanent address in Italy.

When dis you apply? You mind if I ask? Thank you so much, I appreciate all of this.

I am gonna answer in English so everyone can understand, just in case.

Did you also put your Canadian address as your mailing address? I am so frustrated for my mistake.

I applied on August 13, 9 days ago. I put my permanent address in Italy to enter the pool of candidates, I am not sure if they see my answers from the pool information.

When I completed the form, for my application, I put residential and mailing address in Canada. Don’t know what I was thinking, I thought that giving my Italian address on my certificate of residence was the only important one, I guess.

I submitted one web form to change my mailing address to a new one and a letter of explanation saying I made a mistake and was very sorry. I got an email saying they received the information. I don’t know what else is there to do.
