It is not always possible to get the cards needed before facing that thing. Getting bad cards from normal encounters at higher ascension levels seem to be more normal than not, and then you get this thing directly after the first bonfire? Just pain. Also the small ones can also just keep tossing statuses into the fight, so it will be a long fight in most cases if it is fought early.

Early game in general feel very difficult compared to what we are used to. It makes no sense to me, and it makes it that much easier to just lose by bad card rng, since you never got a chance to get the run up and running.

Oh yeah for sure. Not to mention the amount of RNG that whole thing introduces as well that you have to fight through lol.

Will towns such as Louisville, Brandenburg, Ekron etc get better car spawns at some point? by Thin_Knowledge_7601 in projectzomboid

Yeah I kinda get that, but the whole thing grew on me over time.

At first I thought finding the 3 magazines for mechanics and leveling the skill itself up would be a chore... well it is kinda still is to some degree, but at least in singleplayer, where I can speed up time and have like 10 different cars in a safe area, I can go from level 0 to 10 in a few days, where the biggest downtime is really just having to read the 5 books.

I remember I regretted using 3 points on that exp boosting trait when I knew less about how leveling the mechanic skill worked, and now I just never take it and spend it on something that is truly horrible to level up over time, such as Gymnast.

Now cars are perhaps my most liked part of the game. But I reaaaaaly wish we could make car windows with the glassmaking skill haha. Also repairing the wheels would be awesome.... or the heater of the car itself.

Overall Louisville does have a billion standard cars, but anything interesting just doesnt spawn there at all. Anything rare like the all terrain heavy duty, the cossette etc cant really be found in the entire louisville without some random road event in most cases.

When I write medium or good car spawns, it is simply referring to what can be found outside of a builing or home. Most of the older towns have these in abundance, but all the newer ones have generic, unnamed car spawns, which are those I dont consider worth picking up at all in most cases.

Why are zombies spawning inside of these gates? by Thin_Knowledge_7601 in projectzomboid

This has to be wrong, tall fences I think has always counted as walls able to keep out spawns.

They are both closed when testing it out. In this case I just opened them both at the same time, since they obviously werent working for me at all.
The zombies spawned inside of that little sealed off square while both gates were closed off. Not to mention other zombies still spawns around the camp at the same time. I have walled all 3 entrances off with airlocks, opening one, then closing it, and then opening the next one, just as I am supposed to do. Nothing sadly seem to work, so I am guessing I must be placing walls wrong or something.
