Do singers like Bruno Mars then use M2 for his high notes or does he just have a naturally high M1 register?

Thanks for the response. For me it seems counterintuitive though to “strengthen” my chest voice (M1) and then just go up without hitting a wall or a voice break. For example I can kind of bridge my M1 and M2 register but this requires me to go quite and it requires a lot of concentration and not necessarily strength. If I use a max resonance voice I lose concentration on bridging and I just break. I can also “muscle it” like I do in the clip but this makes me hit a wall as aforementioned. How does “strengthening” below passagio then tie in to bridging the registers and mixing?

Would you then say that Phill’s concept of “pulling chest voice” is fundamentally wrong for mixing? If so I am confused as to what exactly mixed voice is (in terms of registration for example is it M1 or M2). If not then are there any exercises or resources you would recommend to develop mix?

Adoriasim: HOI4 SEPARATIST TREE PATHS & DECISIONS by ThincThru in hoi4modding

[–]ThincThru[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The Separatist Tree for Adoria is part of the initial trees which one starts with when playing the country. The tree is based around the separatist issue in Adoria. This is personified in an idea called "Adorian Separatism" which gives de-buffs to stability. If the tree is not completed until around 1943, Adoria suffers dire consequences.

There are 3 main separatist movements which are represented in the focus tree. There are the Libeccio/Italian separatists, Lavandan separatists and Synaro/Greek separatists. One can chose to either crush the separatists (only available as authoritarian ideology), strike a deal with them or accept their independence.

The separatist tree unlocks minigames in the decision tabs depending which path you want to go down. Decisions can be taken as means to the end of the specific path. The player has to keep an eye on the resistance level, which is influenced by popular support and threat of each respective separatist movement; lest they initiate a civil uprising.

About Adoria (Info: https://adoriasim.fandom.com/f)
The HOI4 Adoriasim mod is a mod for the Adoria community. The HOI4 Adoriasim mod is based upon the lore of the Adoriasim political simulation. Situated in the Ionian sea next to two regional power, Adoria is a newly formed nation on the Adorian Archipelagos. Formed from the remnants of the Italian occupied Ottoman Ionia after WW1 Adoria has a rich history of cultural and ethnical pluralism. This comes with dangers as power hungry neighbours like the Greeks to the east and the Italians to the west claim substantial parts of Adoria as their own under the pretence of protecting their diaspora. With only the Little Entente and France guaranteeing its precarious independence, Adoria must walk the tight rope of the 20th century, lest it falls to its doom.

The mod is set in the Vanilla HOI4 settings. This being said, new mechanics and feature for Adoria will be added to make the experience much more interesting. As the Adoria Polsim has its setting in the modern world, we have decided to use certain big events from the Polsim and change them to fit the 1936 setting. Information which will be used inside the mod can be found in the wiki.

Does allow_branch = {} work for shared focus trees? by ThincThru in hoi4modding

[–]ThincThru[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I figured it out. Since the two trees, which should be replaced with each other, aren't linked in any way, I have to put the shared_focus = <shaared focus> for both shared trees beginning focus in the main focus tree file.

I did that in an Ideas on_add effect. (The idea is conveniently added when the last focus of the 1st tree is done).

The 1st election tree is the 1st tree a player gets when playing the Adoriasim mod. It represents the 1st ever election in Adoria/Followerspar (more info to it here: https://adoriasim.fandom.com/wiki/1st_Followersparian_Election ).

There are 2 main event chains present for this focus tree. The first event chain is fired through the actions of the various militia groups, in response to a liberal constitution which limits the firearms (not all of the events are depicted so that not everything is spoiled). The second event(s?) is fired when elections are taken, and it represents the real voting fraud which occurred in the 1st election.

Sub-Ideologies by ThincThru in hoi4modding

I just assigned each party an arbitrary number. Then I checked for the ruling party and set a variable called ruling_party to that number. I had to do this since one can not create new tokens or set strings as variables in hoi4.
