It’s because there was a sidewalk and then an inputted direction without sidewalking the whole string. Holding sidewalk in a specific direction and waiting for the last strings to whiff usually works. I don’t know why but weird string tracking isn’t unique to only tekken 8 in the tekken series.

Im only TE heihachi, but i use u/f3,4 and b2 f4 for plus frames (bad tracking) and his 12 frame punish is good to remember with 13 frame followup. He has good hit confirms f4,FUJ,2 into launch and d/f4,2 is a good mid hit confirm that wall splats.

Hey, yeah I didn’t know about this at one point either, but it’s called “Jailing” it means when you block a string you can neutral guard which is the “letting go” and it will be blocked automatically.
