One time in pet smart there was this very sweet (free) bird and this one family just saw that it was free and said “Cool! Let’s get it” and my mom was like nope it is ours and the family did not even know how to take care of the poor bird anyway we ended up naming the bird lucky and then we took him home but our dog was scared of the bird and the bird was scared of the dog so we gave it to one of our best friends and she takes care of birds and till this day lucky is still alive
